location is excellent, parking available, staff is very helpul to guide to parking
air conditioner is turned on by request, a/c control in the room is not functional, lighting in the room had no low light option, only all bright or nothing
Location, very close to the action but quiet side street Pretty room, nice public areas Friendly staff Parking close by for EUR17 per day, which is good for Seville
Nightmare to find with a car (that could have been our Sat Nav - follow signs once you get close)
The staff was great and thge hotel has character. Lots to see and do around the area.
Lack of a small coffee shop, but that was expained by staff. A very minor issue for us.
Great Location, helpful staff, character
A bit noisy at night.
Friendly, helpful staff Price Characterful Location Large clean room
Air conditioning did not function after 2nd day of 1 week stay
We were greeted by friendly, professional staff at reception. The hotel was very clean and had great amenities. The room was very large as was the bathroom with lots of storage space in both. The hotel is in an ideal location and easy to get to from the metro station which comes straight from the airport. Seville is a lovely place to visit and if I was to come back again I would not hesitate to stay here again.
Great location. Reasonable price as Seville is expensive
Location is very central. The building is beautiful with artdeco and marble staircases.
Driving is a challenge as the roads are very narrow and busy (part of old town). Room and the bathroom was very small, so glad it was for only one night. The one thing I couldn't bare was how terrible the matteresses were. I felt like the springs were going to pop out and kill me over the night, let alone having almost no sleep. They must've been cheap stuff from 20+ years ago. The price was fair, but had I known I will have less than 4 hours of sleep due to the poor bed, I would've spend extra to stay elsewhere. This could be only in the room we stayed though (109).
The decor The staff The room Central location
Rooms around the inner courtyard on all floors have windows that open into it which amplifies the voices of other guests when they are talking. Hard floors echoing guests walking. All the above is more a problem of inconsidertae guests than the hotel itself. No breakfasts. Breakfasts in nearby bars were minimal and expensve.
the local and the wifi are good.....the service is good and we like the bed with beatiful decoretion.
This is a small hotel (25 rooms) where they are get to know each guest. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The location is close to everything you would want to see in Old Seville. It's small, charming and comfortable.
Lovely comfortable beds, friendly helpful staff, very close to Cathedral and river. Perfect location. Beautiful old building. Nice bathroom.
Clattering of brackets on toldos outside rooms when windy.
Fabulous location and a real old-fashioned European hotel decor. The staff was really lovely and helpful. Within walking distance to everything we wanted to see and some great tapas bars, shopping, the glorious AlCahzar. Wow, a terrific place.
Friendly, helpful staff and excellent location.
Wonderful staff who spoke fairly good English. Excellent location very near the cathedral, the Plaza Nueva, and many cafés and tapas bars.
Slightly old uncomfortable furniture. Not pristine cleanliness, but quite clean.
Very good location in the old town.
The hotel charged my credit card in violation of the agreement. Booking.com says that the credit card only will be used for reservation.
All very good
The greatest advantage is location! Just a few minutes away from cathedral and many restaurants and cafés. Hotel is very clean, with nice, helpful staff with a beautiful decor. It was a pleasure to spend few days there. Our room was small and quite dark ( view from the window was to the window in opposite room) but we only took a basic room so it was reasonable. We asked for a cot for our daughter and there was no problem with it. Bathroom was also clean and nice. I was really glad that there was an elevator. It was so much easier dealing with the pushchair! Free WiFi working everywhere! Lack of meals wasn't a problem because there was a huge range of cafés to choose froom next to the hotel.
The biggest issue is lack of parking. We were thinking of renting a car but it would be quite expensive if we'd like to leave a car for a day or two in car park. It would be also far away from hotel. Finally we decided to take a taxi from the airport (34€ night tariff and 25€ during the day). Rooms could be bigger.
Very helpful reception, easy to travel around the city and centrally located! I would gladly go back to the hotel. The city is great and lively.
location excellent, staff very friendly and welcoming, the rooms were clean.
the bed was very hard and uncomfortable.
private parking is available. Good location, shops and restaurants around.
The bathroom. Bad smell and a bit old, not to fresh.
Mostly friendly staff, good location, nicely decorated rooms that were generally clean. Other than the one poor member of staff, they were very good about the problem we had and seemed to take it seriously so I doubt it'll be a problem again.
Our room (not those of my parents or brother, or the room we got moved to) had bed bugs. This in itself was nasty, but not too worrisome as long as we could get a new room. Sadly the member of staff on duty that night was very rude and unhelpful and thought we were just upset by some insects in the bathroom, and he ignored the fact they were living in the bed! He eventually gave us a new room at 1am, when it became clear that we were refusing to sleep in there. The staff the rest of the weekend were very helpful and took our complaints much more seriously, so I guess the problem should have been sorted by now.
