Location Convenience Wi-Fi fast, reliable and free
Filthy carpet on floors
Spacious rooms, nice modern design (somehow hotel owners in EU seem to ignore the design... not in this one!), very nice view, easy to find, close to metro and transport, yet it was very quite (I did not hear other guests neither the city was noisy!) knowledgeable stuff provided info and recommendations. Overall, a great hotel to stay.
The bed quality could be better for a 4-star hotel: I do not understand why would they use spring-box beds while there are great foam ones available. Another tiny thing is that I was not provided the instructions for the wifi login at check-in. I think they should be written right at the key card.
Hotel was very nice, location was great for visiting Real Madrid FC. Staff were exceptionally helpful. Would definitely stay there again.
cleanlyness nice relaxed atmosphere value for money happy helpfull staff
no coffie making facilaties in room
Good location ideal for metro system
No mention that hotel restaraunt closed on the 1st July when booking online!!
Tasteful rooms with good beds and nice bathrooms. Carpet and some other items might soon need some refurbishment. Internet free & easy. In my room (510) the shower was giving little water flow, the day after it was already better for reason of general repairs on water supply. But still the shower was kind of after market repair thingy. Hotel is well-situated directly next to Metro entrance. Easy to go into town. Breakfast is good with very wide choice of food and drinks. You really have to go up in time to enjoy that! I will stay here again. Good price - quality ratio.
As mentioned the hotel is getting a bit older and could use a minor refurbishment here and there. The cafeteria & restaurant were closed, but there are plenty of (good) restaurants and cafes around - no worry.
Breakfast was good.
Shower was very poor. Full size mirror in the dark corner of the room. Need to apply new passwords for WiFi every other day (ridiculous if one is staying for several days). No bar or restaurant in the hotel (no info on that at the time of the booking). Prices of laundry service are very steep.
Close enough to the airport and you need an awful lot of time at Madrid's airport. Nice restaurants around. Lobby staff was very accommodating.
We weren't around long enough. Arrived at 9:00pm, left at 6:30am
Good location right beside metro
Very hard to find and not walking distance to charmartin with cases. Switch on the external lights we arrived at night and had to be shown where the hotel was.
Location and staff were great
Wifi was poor and hotel still has frozen some of my money even though I checked out 2 days ago
close to the Santiago Bernabeu stadium, friendly staff, 24 hour Mcdonalds next door
No non news based English speaking TV channels, WIFI signal poor during afternoon/early evening hours
Location near train station to San Sebastian was bonus. Easy to get around town by train. we had much up with booking and hotel & booking.com fixed for us very quickly. Great Tapas bars within 5 minute walk.
no bar or food after breakfast, but this is Spain so plenty of other options
close to real Madrid stadium close to metro line
The Staff were excellent and very well presented in every category I would stay again and recommend to anybody
Location is excellent. Staff was helpful especially Maria and Ruben were very courteous. Generally very good value for money.
parking is a hassle. A kettle for making tea /coffee would have helped a lot. No hand tissue box in the room; just a tiny pack of five tissues!!
Good Location where McDonald's outlet exists in the same building, and the underground station is few yards away.
A Kettle with some tea and coffee is now a basic requirement to have in any hotel . this was surprisingly not there !!. Fair English language of the front line staff, and absolutely No English of any other staff !
Friendly staff at reception and very helpful.
Woke up a couple of times because of the bed.
Location and room. Excellent bed and facilities. Details are inportant.
Bit expensive without breakfast.
The hotel was ideal, as it was close enough for us to walk to my brother's apartment, it was close to the Metro and ideal for shopping. The use of the computer was a great asset to us to check on emails etc. The breakfast was sumptuous with a great selection of dishes. We will stay again when next we visit Madrid. Thanks for everything. Noel and Noreen Donnellan, Galway, Ireland
There are only very minor issues, such as no kettle to boil water, no drinking water provided. The wall mounted hair drier was broken, but we did get a hair drier from reception.
Additional to the headline: Quick solving of some initial problems in the room!!
Love the location and the staff.
AC issues and dirty filters.
This was a pleasant hotel to stay in. It was very clean and the staff was very helpful. If I'm in Madrid again I will definitely be back and will recommend it to those that are going.
