the sewerage smelled incredible bad and the hotel staff wasn't able to solve the problem

Nice bright hotel, nice facilities.

Finding it was difficult. Car park is a long way from the hotel. Also knowing that I needed to go to the hotel before the car park to get a key etc would have saved a lot of time.

The location is very convenient. And there is free parking on nearby street ( though not easy to find a place). The breakfast was vey generous and you can eat in a beautiful garden when weather is good. The room was quite new and clean and neat.

One thing really troubled us was the smell. There is really bad smell coming our from the toilet. Even we closed the door, we still cannot sleep well at night as the smell was so disturbing.

Excellent postion just inside the pedestrianised part of the city and close to all the sites. Exterior belies the modern interior with lovely small patios to sit and relax. Room ( superior) was spacious & well equipped and quite overlooking a small patio. Hotel was full but breakfast was well stocked and you could eat inside or in the courtyard patio. Parking was 5 minutes walk away but reasonably priced & secure.

Good location a sort walk from the main centre of Cordoba. Quirky building with several beautiful courtyards for sitting or sunning! Good breakfast with the opportunity to eat on the terrace.

Staff seemed either a bit pre-occupied (with each other) and didn't seem to really to be giving their attention to customers - we spend 20 minutes trying to find our room because no-one bothered to explain the layout of the hotel.

Reasonably spacious and attractive standard double room.

Stench of sewage permeating our room when windows were closed. When windows were open, the loud talking and cigarette smoke from early morning gathering of men in the adjoining courtyard kept us from sleeping beyond 7:30 AM. The bathroom floor should be scrubbed; it is really dirty.

Very small room.The only window looked direct on to public passage way, giving no privacy NOT acceptable in a four star hotel! Room not ready, room allocated was not the room offered by the receptionist, when we came back after two hours our luggage had not been taken to the room. Again NOT acceptable in a four star hotel

excellent location, room was comfortable, the inside patio was very nice. stuff very friendly, gave us great tips about the city & places to eat.

It's location was fairly central

1. Room too small - could not even open wardrobe door properly. 2. Could not get the curtains to close properly. 3. TV had no facility to change language. 4. This hotel is more suitable for business users not leisure. 5. Parking facility too far away.

Bed to small, room tight, glass bathroom doors,didn't have a resturant therefore no room service not like other 4star accomidation

Location, design, facilities, staff, comfort

The location is great for getting to all the main tourist sites. The staff were helpful and friendly. The building has lots of interesting features and lovely courtyards. The room was comfortable and spacious.

Our room was on the street side of the building, which was VERY noisy, particularly on the Friday night.

The design was unique. The hotel was very clean. Close to an excellent restaurant .

Location is great, daytime staff is trying very hard to meet customer requests, night staff is ignorant and incompetent.

Our three rooms were underground with daylight entering through kind of small light shafts. Facilities room right next to our rooms emitting high pitched noise.

Fairly easy to find, parking was close by and concessionary rate was very reasonable. The Hotel was very close to the Historical centre of the city. The staff were very helpful and friendly, and the Hotel was very nice, rooms very clean and modern (unlike the roman remains displayed in the basement which were very interesting. Brfeakfast, although not part of the room rate was excellent and reasonable at 9.00 euros.

Only complaint was the Aircon / Heating in the room was difficult to control so had to open windows to cool the room.

Really friendly staff! We got a free upgrade to a junior suite which was a real treat! Breakfast for 9 euro is really good. Location very nice. Cordoba is great!

The location was perfect in a street with two very good restaurants and close to the Mezquita and the Juderia.

The hotel lacks character and is rather impersonal.

We loved this place. The design was very interesting although we needed to keep our window closed because of the street noise. The staff were extremely helpful and pleasant. They worked very hard.

Very difficult to find and we had to hire a taxi to follow. Parking was expensive and although safe not nearby.

- Lack of any facilities--not even a proper bar or restaurant; no spa or pool; no tea/coffee in room. - More a two or three star than the four star it claimed to be. - Rooms were very small.

Great shower, fine bathroom (I hate small size bathrooms) Comfortable bed and great pillows (my wife always complains about the pillows when staying at hotels, this time she loved it, she even checked the brand trying to figure out where to buy one for our home). Good location. Sufficient hangers and space for your clothes.

We had asked for a silent room, and they gave us one facing the street. The windows did not block the sounds from the street, very poor isolation, and noisy in spite of being on the top floor. However, we managed to change to a room facing a patio, and it was silent. (There was some noice from the electrical equipment, but it did not prevent you from sleeping well). The safe was a bit different from the ones I am used to; it does not show you the digits that you have dialed, so if you make a mistake, you won't notice until you try to open it again.
