Staff show me a free car park
Atmospheric with Spanish feel with comfort and warm. Important in February.
Very helpful friendly staff Newly refurbished hotel with a beautiful patio. Superb breakfast Well appointed bedroom Very quiet
Great breakfast, lovely patio area beside our room
The friendly and helpful staff, the quietness and cleanliness of the room and the handy location.
Great location. Rooms are a bit small but well appointed.
We asked for a room high up and were given a room in the basement with a tiny window high up the wall. No view, of course. We insisted on viewing 2 other rooms and chose a nice one on the 2nd floor. Don't be brushed off if you do not like what they try to give you.
you could walk anywhere from this location - actually on a central route through town but actually quiet. everything we wanted to see within 10-15 mins walk - 10 mins from the train station by cab. Rooms were good, clean and roomy.
none really to want to mention
Big, cozy and silent room, comfortable,,huge bed and specious bathroom, very clean, nice decor. Breakfast was perfect. Simply a very good stay. Would recommend to everybody.
Location and cost
Wifi was problematic to login to due to devices
Location is excellent, especially for the money. Hotel looks very sophisticated, blending modernism with an Andalucian flair.
Staff was not always nice. Some misunderstanding about how the car parking should be used not dealt in the best way.
The whole ambience of hotel
Personal was very helpful
We liked our room, the amazing sentence from the philosopher Maimonides written in its wall, the restaurant, the young guitarist playing beautiful music. Lovely place and the main old building with a truly Cordoba atmosphere, with orange trees. We highly recommend it.
Although there is a elevator, we should have picked up our luggage in an outdoor stair to get into the area of the elevator.
Great location, within easy walking distance of all historical city centre sights.
Location, comfort of the rooms and friendlyness of the staff
We liked the spaciousness and privacy of our two-level suite, although it was an unexpected layout. Very quiet room, easy walking distance into the old town from the hotel. Good breakfast (though not included). A good off-season deal for the price.
Minor points only: Lugging our suitcases up a long staircase to the upper level wasn't ideal. Some of the fixtures (in bathroom especially) seem more showy than actual good quality. Lower room had only a pullout couch, not a proper bed. When the key to the patio area didn't work I had to run back and forth four times (a fair distance) until a staffer came to help. Sticky lock not fixed during our two-day stay, no "sorry for the trouble."
We liked the location as it was in easy walking distance of the cathedral and the river. It was quiet (we visited in January). Will visit Cordoba again and use the same hotel.
Far worse than other 4 star hotels the staff almost ignores you. One guy worked very hard to check all the guests in. Others seemed more busy with personal matters
Stylish, really nice place. Breakfast was good
location is good, nice historic elements in the hotel, clean and comfortable rooms
little bit unpersonal, but nothing really
Good location. Crean room
The room was cold. It isn't a winter hotel.
absolutely exceptional smile and practical help at the reception: first time a specialised receptionist informed me in details about the city even before I asked, together with good written material. This unique courtesy deserves 6 stars out of 5.
A typical couple travelling comes to the hotel room. I fall on my knees, and I pray: a plug, a plug, where is a spare plug? We want to charge two mobile phones, a tablet and the batteries of a photo camera: makes 4 plugs. Very low electricity consumption, but 4 plugs must be available, in parallel. Ideal location: the desk, or the bed, but not the floor. Pulling out cables from lamps, mini-bar, TV, Tea-pot, etc. is no longer an acceptable standard for end 2014. In 2014 I stayed in about 25 hotels all over Europe; one single hotel had 5 free plugs. Parking is difficult in this city; this is not hotel specific, it is Cordoba specific. Don't try to enter a parking garage with a Porsche: your car touches the ground and you're stuck.
