Clean, cosy, comfortable rooms All the facilities we needed Peace and quiet most of the time Close to public transport and to some nice restaurants and shops Generous terrace with a pleasant view
Night staff sometimes noisy (continuous shuffling of papers and other things for hours on end); we could not sleep for two nights in a row because of these noises, which was a shame given the fact that the area and the hotel in general are very quiet Quite a walk to the city centre, we'd advise using public transport whenever possible
The location in walking distance of Sagra Famila and Sant Pau an oasis for medical research.
The women who takes care of things speaks no English and we spoke no Spanish. The beds were more like fold aways with thin mattresses.
- really great and friendly staff, they don't speak too much English but alw ready to help))) - clean rooms + good view from the balcony; -quiet at night, location is perfect with lots of cafes downstairs + a supermarket not so far from here; -all necessary facilities and a veeeery big bathroom; -perfect value for money.
-can't say as we liked everything for this price)))
We were made to feel very welcomed on arrival. All staff we saw were very pleasant. Had good sized room and terrace. No complaints at all will definitely stay again.
Wasn't anythin I disliked.
Comfy pillows! We had top floor with lovely balcony
Room only. Superb location. Top floor nice balcony great view. Nice friendly, helpful staff.
Would have liked a kettle in room.
Room was good with a very large balcony and a big bathroom. Quite near a metro so getting around is okay and their are restaurants nearby.
The Hotel reception is on the 6th floor of a building with no signs at ground level to say this. There is a sign in the lift but as that is also up a flight of stairs it is not easy to spot. Only a local person saved us in our confusion.
Neat location far from the tourist hordes, and really close to the magnificent Hospital St Pau, a must see. Metro makes getting around quite easy. Also really liked the patios open to all desk, and the 24 hour check in its always nice.
I imagine better value could be found elsewhere, though Barcelona is generally an expensive city. We had a weird experience where the housekeepers wouldn't replace our dirty towels which we placed on the floor, even though they have a sign saying this is what you do if you want replacement. This happened multiple times, but otherwise their housekeeping was good. Lastly, some staff were great, but others couldn't speak any English. Normally this isn't something I would comment on, but for this price point in such a cosmopolitan city, I would've expected all staff could at least speak a bit.
Really good location, quiet but central, near the important metro line, great neighborhood, helpfull staff, near Sagrada Familia. Good, clean bedrooms, just like in the photographs.
Nothing to mention
Location, balcony, powerful hot shower
Liked everything but would prefer tea/coffee facilities in room
Was close to family who live in barcelona
Nothing all was ok
It is what it is so nothing
Lovely room and the balcony was particularly good. Very clean and impressed with the cleaners in general. Most staff were absolutely lovely, especially the lady when we checked out who was very helpful. The hotel emailed us after our stay to tell us we'd left a jacket which was particularly lovely.
One receptionist was particularly rude when we checked in and made us feel like it was a chore/ we were troubling her.
Nice, clean room, good location. Would recommend.
Walls were a little thin.
Location is great, the room itself was perfect, the staff is friendly, wifi has great signal strength and speed. Overall, really good value for money. Definitely recommended!
Ok, this is not the hotels fault, but it is something to keep in mind if you travel with kids. We traveled with a baby stroller (Phil & Teds VIBE) that is quite wide, and the doors in the hotel were quite narrow. So, to get to our 8th floor room, I had to take the wheels out to get it in the elevator -which would only go up to the 6th floor- and then carry it up the stairs to the room, where I had to remove the wheels again to pass through the door. Bottom line: take a small baby stroller! :)
The Hotel is in an excellent location, just a few minutes from Metro station, Sau Paul, just after Sagreda Familia. The Italian restaurant below is wonderful. The room contained three single beds, with a stand between two of them so my wife and I slept on opposite sides of the room. There are two tiny (3 people) closet-elevators, which go to 6 floor, where reception is. We made booking through this site, worked well. Room was clean and tidy, good value for the location. Beds in our room were firm. Bathroom large enough. Would consider booking this again.
While wifi is offered (password) on back of room door, it is not real great. But OK. For a Hotel in an international city, the receptionist/staff did not seem to know one word of English, but got the job done. I think they should try harder to learn some English to help their guests. NO breakfast at all. No a/c was available (May), we left the window open at night and it was OK.
location was brilliant...close to metro and bus. Staff helpful and friendly. Good bakery near by servind excellent coffee.
The noise coming from neighbouring rooms and floors
Clean room everyday, clean bathroom, very good location, very good neighborhood, helpful reception 24/7.
We received a triple room which had only one little window. It was not what we expected. The fotos on booking.com had a terrace with a sea view. It was nice that on our request after two nights we could move to a much better room. Nice helpful staff.
I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. Location was great, away from the really touristy loud parts of town yet really close to metros and buses. Lots of nice shops, restaurants and bars under the trees on the boulevards and other streets around the corner. Friendly staff, they don't speak a lot of English but its ok so long as your not looking for too much tourist advice. Room was really nice, plain and clean, sunny and bright with a rooftop balcony overlooking the city. I'll be back again.
Can't fault it really, I got what i wanted and felt it was really good value for money.
We always stay in this hotel when going to Barcelona. It is really good.
They should put water heater and refrigerators in the rooms in case we would like to make our own coffee and buy food.
Good place to stay few days.. Excelent choise
Location was good 200 m to Segrada Fam., Wi-fii.
NOISE: You can hear noise outside the hotel and if someone travels at night inside. You can hear noise from neighboring bathroom The building its so strange and its located at 7 floor....
Good position of the hotel, only 10mins by walk from La Sagrada Familia and 5 mins from metro station. Resonable for the price. Room was clean, big bathroom. If you are looking for the room just for the night, this is good choice. We spent there 4 nights and we were just sleeping there. There is great bakery near by the hotel - Granier, with perfect breakfast.
Very noisy, creaking beds. We had room on the same floor as reception and we could hear each talk from the reception. Staff doesn't speak English, but we didn't need anything from them, except keys from the room. :-)
