Free late check out (14.00) Room was spacious. Metro station straight across the road.
A little noisy at weekends from partying students from a nearby street but nothing a pair of earplugs didn't sort.
Staff location comfort
Location and price are excellent and the bed was very comfortable.
The room and bathroom were small, pretentiously furnished but not in a practical way. Using the sink or taking a shower was absurdly complicated.
The front desk staff was very helpful and pleasant. Check is 2pm we arrived at 830 am and went to hotel, they had a room avail larger than I booked and allowed me to check in early. That was great was a pleasant surprise (and at no extra cost). Staff spoke English which was a plus for me since my Spanish is quite poor. The location is great across from metro. I would go bac
Nice room very comfortable beds. Room needed a coat of paint to lower wall lots of scuff marks which changed the appearance of the lovely room. Bathroom was nice, roomy and pretty except some of the grout in the shower looked moldy and had a slight mold odor which again deflected from the room. All in all it was a pleasant experience and I would go back if I had an opportunity to visit Madrid.
The Hotel has an excellent location, superb staff. and the best is the Mercado downstairs!
A kettle is missing in the room!
The voice in the elevator, very anoying. Some power sockets, lights switches not in a practical position
The hotel is in front of the Moncloa subway station and close to the city center. Terrific view of the Madrid rooftops from the upper floors. Wow, a really pleasant room!! ...
... but nobody warned us in advance that there was no hot water. When we realized it, late at night, from the reception they said that in 15 min the problem would have been fixed. Nonetheless the tap water kept flowing cold until we left in the morning: no chance of a shower. Not very fair.
staff were kind and helpful
breakfast was not like 4 star hotel
I was lucky with the price as I got a large discount, but the base price was very high for the kind of room
Some breakfast items were not replenished when finished
Excellent location, opposite metro station. Good breakfast and helpful staff.
Location is excellent.
Thin walls (poor sound insulation) Breakfast not very rich
Good ratio quality/money Clean and comfortable
the wifi was very week
Very Friendly and Helpful Staff.Cleaning staff amazing, everything spotless.Nothing too much bother, able to borrow iron.Great restaurant in hotel.Breakfast Very Nice.Able to store luggage after checked out due to late flight and able to go round Madrid on the last day.
Cleaning staff didn't understand English but Very Pleasant. When checked in didn't explain about room card required to use lift but having said that it was busy at reception.
Fitness room (not a real gym, but it is still great to have it), sauna, terrace, new, staff, location
Not completely finished, there are a few details that should be fixed painture of the bathroom, door lock, bath button, poor wifi
Everything was perfect, location next to a metro station, spacious spotless rooms, fast wifi, great breakfast and helpful staff. Definitely if we visit Madrid again this is the place we will stay again and again
Proximity of metro
All of it
Location Helpfulness of staff
nice hotel in walking distance to downtown (if you are not afraid to walk 2 km), reasonable breakfast, sauna and gym
the equipment in the gym should be maintained better...neither the bike nor the cross trainer was usable
Location close to metro. Lively, non-touristic neighbourhood Breakfast and tapas and great service at next-door mercado restaurant Cleanliness Nice, sophisticated design high quality beds
No clear communication that roof terrace and - pool are closed in October (at 26 °C) Modest breakfast (go next-door) Some minor annoyances: - washing without spilling is impossible (wrong faucet or improper installation). - No hangers for hand towels - No tissues - No shaving mirror
Location is across the street from the metro. It was very easy to get around. The staff were very helpful and answered all of my many questions. Although the person checking me in spoke perfect English, she offered to converse with me in Spanish if I would like that. As I am just learning to speak Spanish, I thought she was about the nicest and most accommodating hotel staff ever. It was hot and the room was air-conditioned!
Room was noisy until late at night. There was only one pillow on the bed and no shampoo and conditioner in the bathroom.
Love this hotel I had stayed in it back in July so decided to return with my friends to celebrate a 50th Birthday. Loved the rooftop loved the market style bar. Rooms are modern and comfortable. Location is great as opposite metro. Totally recommend this hotel!
Wi if not good in rooms but fine in the bar. Prices of drinks on the roof top everything else fantastic
Very clean; new furniture; comfortable bed; right next to a very good bar and tapas complex; conveniently located for the bus and the metro
Bathroom had no towelrails! Wi-fi was so slow as to be unusable at times
