Holiday Inn Express Girona    

the location was good very close to A7/E15 motorway, with access to many things. it was also very cmfortable and the evening staff were friendly and helpful. We arrived very late after midnight but they still served us drinks in the bar.

The morning reception staff were not very friendly and did not believe us when we complained about the knocking noise that woke us at 6 am and was still going on at 8.30 when we went for breakfast and then checked out. The choice of breakfast for the price was very poor and no hot food.

value for money,we wanted to be near the aeroport since we were flying very early.we could have our breakfast at 4.30a.m

maybe the location isn't so good if you want to be near city centre.If you are travelling by car that won't be a problem.

Great location. If you travel by car is a good start for trips to Girona (15min) and Barcelona (1h). Excellent and high standards of service. Behind hotel is shopping mall with few restaurants.

There is not children channel in tv which is not good if you want occupy them for few minutes in the evening or simply save from jumping on beds;)

-clean-10 minutes from airport-cheap-great staff- next to a big choppingmall-good value for money-when you're hungry; we had a very nice diner at Dong Xing (chineese restaurent next to the hotel) for 9 e for adults and 4.50 for children.(buffet) -breakfast is basic but good quality.Girona is beautiful!!!!!!

Our previous experience of a Holiday Inn Express was not pleasant but as our usual hotel was not available and your room rate was so reasonable, we decided that as it was for one night only, we would take our chance. We checked in and when we got to our room, could not believe our good fortune; my wife because of the shopping mall nearby and myself because of the size of the room. Compared to other hotels where we overnight on our journey to/from Costa Blanca this was luxury. Our one night was perfect and we wished we could have stayed longer but that will have to wait now until next year. Our normal first choice will now be Holiday Inn Express, Salt. Thank you.

I always know what to expect: a spotlessly clean, comfortable room; a sense of a place that is well run by professionals; helpful, friendly staff - and I'm not disappointed. Value for money is very good.

I would have liked 1. BBC World on my tv 2. muesli for breakfast

Good value for money, easy to find and extremely convenient for Girona Airport. Very clean room and bathroom. Ideal for a one night stop over for either an early morning flight or a late arrival flight. Highly recommended.

We enjoyed our stay very much! Maybe private parking would be an asset.

Good value for money

-Not a big choice for breakfast -There was no minibar/fridge in the room! Good job that we went in March, otherwise I wouldn't have anywhere to store the milk for the baby! - The window didn't close properly, so it was rather noisy AND I think it was the reason why the aircon didn't work! Can't imagine what it would be like in the summer!

If travelling by car, it is better to stop in Salt, in Girona the hotels are more expensive.

handy location for 10 minute trip to airport....based in retail park with all you can eat for 9 euro chinese next door..bar in reception,,breakfast basic rolls and coffee, Caralina on reception was really helpful...wi fi 3 euro an hour...good value for money and will use again if waiting for early flight back to luton

Stayed here between Barcelona and the airport. Liked haveing the 24 hour desk for late check in. 30 Euro to airport. Nice to put out some breakfast items for early check out for flight.

Excellent hotel for money we payed.

The hotel is quiet and has spacious rooms. It is located near Girona airport. The breakfast was good and the parking is free.

The window did not close completely in our room, so that we had to turn the heating high which was turning off automatically making the temperature chilly at night.

Location (it is within a huge shopping complex, bus service is good and also has free car parking), cleanliness (very clean room and bathroom), decent breakfast, hotel ambience. Fast Internet (but paid).

Internet is not free!! Wifi did not work. I asked for a cable and connected my laptop to the internet. At least in the family room, there is only one small cupboard making it congested.

Clean and modern rooms, competitive price, good location close to the AP7. Big shopping centre next to the hotel with restaurants, shops and cinemas.

Some noise from the road next to the hotel (our room was facing the road), with traffic all night. In peak times, the hotel car park seemed to be a bit chaotic as well due to the close proximity to the shopping centre.

Everything is Superb.

Great location for stop over...just 1 mile from a7. Next door to large shopping centre with plenty of restaurants that stay open late. LOts of free parking, quite secure as well. Rooms are medium size and basic but comfortable. Tea/Coffee making in rooms. Continental breakfast is simple but adequate. Always nice staff at reception. Modern no frills hotel at a good rate.

This is really annoying. Becuase the weather cools down outside teh manager turns off all the air conditioning, but the hotel warms up during the day and its at night that you need the air con. Should Not be advertised as 'air conditioning' but 'air conditioning in summer months only.' Hot in the room at night, so window open which lets in noise and insects......really dissapointed with this. Also WiFi is charged....this is also very dissapointing. I'm looking for another hotel in the area after having several good stays at this one in the past.
