Sercotel Extremadura    

This is a comfortable well situated hotel. Breakfast buffet is a good as it can get but....

One morning hot breakfast food was in unheated containers and was cold very quickly as were plates. Wifi was most non existent on 5th floor. Associated restaurant had good food but unsympathetic staff!

Good business hotel. As hotel is on city edge, driving acess is pretty easy.

Wifi kept dropping out - not good for a business hotel. Bit of a walk to old part of city.

Easy business type hotel. Everything works. Although they skimp a bit. Paradors I have just stayed at in Plasencia and Trujillo for the same price of about 100 Euros, offer a lot more. Flatscreen tv, a tissue dispenser and much nicer furnishings and ambeince.

Beautiful bathroom and pleasant sitting area between our two rooms.

This was our second visit and it was as satisfactory as our first. We like it because it is near the park to walk the dogs after a long car journey. Room service is available so we don't leave dogs in the room alone or in the car in the underground garage. We have no experience of the restaurant but I would certainly use the hotel again on our next trip to Portugal.

We have no criticisms of this hotel.

Size and comfort of the rooms. Secure underground parking. Helpful staff and efficient room service. Outside area suitable for walking the dogs.Now we know how to find it we would have no hesitation to go again.

Not easy to find, but it is a tall red brick hotel right on the crossroads at the top of the Avenida Virgen de Guadalupe with its own entrance and driveway. Once you know that it is easy to find and park.

Possibility to keep my dog and cats in the room.

We arrived at the hotel with our three cats and the staff were extremely helpful in accomodating us and advising us of sights in the city and providing directions to restaurants etc.

There was nothing that we did not like about this hotel.

The check in and check out was extremely fast, the fastest ever in my experience!!! Very helpful staff and the room was very good. I asked them something for the room and they did it perfectly.

Modern and Spacious, rooms a very good size. WiFi good. Bathroom excelent with nice large Shower. Car Park was underground with easy access and Parking, plus plenty of space for each vehicle. Breakfast was excellent, plenty of choice and high quality food.

Finding it, as it is not that obvious from the road and the name was only Extremadura and we were looking for Sercotel Extremadura.

A good choice for a visit to Caceres. The hotel is located about 15 minutes on foot to the old town; a taxi costs just a bit more than 5 euros. Very good breakfast buffet, with a nice selection of offerings, including fresh orange juice. Good parking arrangement. Friendly and helpful staff.

The wi-fi, although free, is somewhat hit-or-miss. Sometimes the connection was reasonably fast, but other times is was frustratingly slow.

Asked for a non smoking room , had to have the window open becouse of the smell of smoke.

Good location and secure parking. A moder hotel and everyting worked. Internet was a bit hard to access but we get there. Very good breakfast included. About 1 km walk to the old town. Great to cool off in the pool in the heat of the day. Excellent Tapa bar called Eustaquio Blanco and their were staff who could speak english. They are just across the road from the hotel. Would stay there again.

Internet access could be improved. Signal was fine, just getting in was not intuitive.

The hotel is located in the modern part of the town, in a quiet neighbourood, but within an easy 10 min walk to the center, The facilities are quiet good and the breakfast is excelent. Good value for money. If you are going at the weekend, there is no need to leave car in the garage because there is a lot of free parking space around the hotel.
