Location very well appreciated
Pictures do not represent the appartment. No balcony as required in the description. The 5th bed was not a real one but a sofa.
Location very central, staff very helpful and accommodating
It can get a bit noisy during the night.
The place was close to the Gothic area and many cafes and restaurants, which was a real positive.
The laneway where the apartment was located had a sleazy atmosphere, where several men " hung out"" who appeared homeless, and of a suspicious nature. It was a bit noisy immediately below the apartments at night. The building had no lift, and the stairs were steep and narrow. A hard slog if you had a lot of luggage and had 3 flights of stairs to your apartment.
Location, the apt is very close to the Rambla and the cathedral.
We must climb a very long old stair. No problem with me but my father was really hate it.
The location wasn't too bad. The shower was great.
The stairs were really bad. Too many formalities to complete. Lots of money and information needed for just a deposit. Not even hotels does this. Wifi was cancelled the day before our checkout date.
Location, location, location
Toilet was so small, that taller guys could not close the door.
The staff at the office when we arrived were very helpful and friendly and the check in process was simple and quick. The beds in the apartment were very comfortable and everywhere was clean and well maintained. The Wifi access was very good and the facilities in terms of kitchen equipment and bedroom storage were ample for four/five people on a short stay. The apartment is in a good location - only a short walk from Port Vell, La Ramblas and nearby Metro stations. We would definitely choose this again instead of a hotel.
The only toilet in the apartment is in a tiny, cramped cubicle type room and it is impossible to manoeuvre - so much so, that some of us couldn't close the door properly and sit on the toilet at the same time! It's a shame because everything else was good.
The whole room and contents had a severely strong cigarette smell, which gave me a headache and got into my lungs (I was wheezing the next day). We did not feel like we wanted to be in the room at all. The check in was a nightmare; you have to call a number to obtain 3 seperate codes (I had to use the taxi drivers mobile as I did not have my mobile set up for roaming whilst oversees). Then we had to fill out a form and return it within a day. There were so many rules to abide by, it felt like I was at school, not paying for a service. Also there is no reception desk on site, so no service if you have questions, and the offsite reception desk demands you call between certain hours, no email or person to person service. If you want a comfortable hassle free holiday do not stay here.
Very central location, clean, easy check-in, excellent that you can leave your suitcases at the central office until it is time for your flight
Balcony was described as big but in reality it was very small, shower head was cracked; clients should be advised beforehand that they have to climb 2 narrow flights of steps to arrive to the apartment which is not easy when carrying suitcases, location is rather shabby.
Fantastic location lovely restaurants and atmosphere right on the doorstep. Great modern apartment which is great value for money
Lots of steps and no lift but this really wasn't too much of a problem. Floor above was quite noisey and sound travelled through the floor
Layout of the apartment was great, perfect place for me & my friends to stay for a few nights and very good value for money.
Fantastic spot in the middle of the gothic quarter, and central to all main attractions and a metro station. Comfortable space for 5 of us, good kitchen, wifi great. Would stay here again.
Apartment was hard to find as it is off a tiny little side street (the likes of which tourist guides tell you to avoid walking down at night).
The apartment was clean and quite.
It was very difficult to obtain the check-in codes. The company did not answer the phone right away. The apartment we stayed in was in a questionable part of town. In addition, the air conditioning units were stand alone and difficult to use.
nice personell. good comfort
a bit far from the city centre
the location is perfect, and the apartment is clean and newly furnished.
The staff has been extremely willing before arriving, sending several useful informations by email. Once arrived, even if the city office has been contacted only before leaving for the luggage storage, the two persons here available were quite impolite.
A little hard to find
Great location beats a hotel any day!!
STRESSFUL CHECK-in PROCEDURE
Perfect location, quiet place, rooms are not different from photos, nice pubs and restaurants around, close to metro station..
4th floor - too many stairs ....
Location was amazing.
Apartment was very small. Difficult to accommodate 3 people.
We stayed in the 1st floor appartment. It was awfully noisy. There is a bar literally 5 meters from the appartment on the other side of the alley, and during the night (one night till 3.30 am) there was loud music and other noises (screaming, laughing, vessel crash) coming from there or from the nearby squre, making impossible to sleep. Walls are so thin, so you can also hear the neighbours marching up and down in the very narrow staircase, and that is very disturbing too. Also the toilett is ridiculously small, and I am not tall at all. For us it was a disappointment mainly due to the noise, so if you prefer to have a nice sleep after a tiring day, I would not recommend this place.
Clean apartment with comfy beds. Very good location (in the Gothic district) as well.
It was a hassle to have to call on the day of arrival to get access to the keys, instead of being informed beforehand. Lack of elevator at the property with the room at a higher floor made it difficult. Toilet was also very small, and the "rooms" were only separated by a curtain (not a proper door).
The toilet is weirdly small.
good location, quiet, big, well eqiuipped
no views or terrace, small toilet
+ Location: The only thing positive about the apartment was the location. It was near the Gothic Square.
- Poor English of staff. - Distracted staff: They are not aware of which apartment is available and which is not. They send us another apartment and we woke up the poor resident guy .They also let us check in at 5 PM. - No privacy: The apartment is for 5, and is described as 2 double rooms and a sofa. In fact, there are no doors between rooms, there is just a tiny curtain. - Poor facilities: There was no elevator and the apartment was at 4th floor. The toilet was terrible. It was 1 square meter only and the flush was not working. The drains were not working so we had to take shower ON a certain level of dirty water. - Not clean: There were urine on quilts and sheets, we could not use them. We noticed the staff but their English was terrible, as I said. So, we decided to freeze at nights instead of using urinary sheets. - Not comfortable: One of the beds was broken, my wife was almost injuring her foot while she was trying to sit on it. Also, the backs of two wardrobe was broken too. - Noisy location: There were cafe's and bars around which were open after midnight, so there was a loud and multilingual noise that did not let us sleep. - Poor price: All those things considered, they do not deserve a dime, we do not have that much money to spend on such luxury (!) apartments again.
