Ayre Hotel Caspe  

After taking a chance and booking this hotel beacuse it was mentioned that a local newspaper were taking groups here, we were delighted with it and knew we'd definitely made the right choice. Friends had previously had bad experiences at other hotels in Barcelona and no one seemed to be able to recommend a good hotel. This is great though. I was travelling with my husband and father and we couldn't have had a better time. Staff very helpful and and friendly. Room clean and beds very comfortable. Good location if you're happy enough to walk and in a quiet area. Not a single complaint.

Great hotell with great breakfast. Beds a little hard, but I guess that is standard in the area. 10 min walking distance to La Rambla and the shopping areas. We chose taxi a lot of the time, cos they were cheap. Great service, we asked for all sorts of things (where to find this and that), and they gave us great recommandations, especially for restaurants. Would definately stay at the same hotel again.

The jacuzzi was closed during our stay...

Quiet rooms (we slept to 10.00 without meaning to!). Bathroom design very good with good sized bath and seperate powerful shower. Room size including bed very good with air conditioning.Free bottled water from fridge.

My wife found the bed far too hard and commented that it was like sleeping on a shelf!

The hotel was very clean and the staff were excellent.

Mainly the helping staff, the free wifi and free water at the minibar

Entrance and Elevators are small for big bags. Electricity sometimes at night gets cut automatically from the room.

I have been 3 years ago and the hotel was very good. Now rooms really require some renovation. Wouldn't come back to the hotel again.

Hotel was in a good location & provided all the comfort/facilities of your usual 4*. What set it apart from others I have stayed in was the helpfulness of all the staff that I encountered. For the price I have no real complaints.

There was not really anything about this hotel that I didn't like but would like to make a sugestion that the Management take a close look at the general upkeep. For the price I paid (at the lower end of the scale for this category of hotel) there was no problem, however if I had paid more I might have been more concerned by some small points E.G. some scraped decor, some frayed towels, no robe and the fact the there was nothing in the mini bar except water. As I said very small points, but if I was going to pay the mid rate or above for a 4* I would probably look elsewhere, which would be a shame as there is so much to like about Ayre Hotel Caspe.

The Rooms themselves were excellent and the location was good but more orientated towards a business traveler rather than holiday traveler.

I though the internet at 70r a day was too expensive since many hotels now include internet at no cost.

The cups were not wash visibly with tea stain, not suitable for use. Hygiene should be pay more attention to. Hotel staff were not very polite and helpful. Light bulb in the room were damage but no attention be given to. Wifi were told can use in the room, but only could use in the lobby, which after certain hours not available. Overall really not value for money, paying for bad services.

Hotel quite will located, but it could be a little bit closer to metro station. The city center anyway is in a walking distance. Staff also nice and friendly.

Wi fi in not working in a cell phones other than IPhone, I have Nokia e72 and it doesn't work. So hotel should advertise itself as a hotel with wifi working only with laptops. Strange my cell phone works everywhere with wifi but not in that hotel. So if anybody will like only to use internet through cell phone - do not chose that hotel. I recommend Ayre hotel to do something with that because it was really bad experience and I didn't expect that... Concerning tv channels - only Spanish channels work well other sat channels doesn't work at all - hotel advertise having sat television witch is not working!! I couldn't watch anything on tv...

Reception personnel was rude when asked to change the room from a small with no exterior view to a bigger one with exterior view. Breakfast was poor. In case you do not reach in time in the morning, they tell you that the omelet is over and if you want one you have to pay it, even though breakfast is included. No toilet brush in bathroom.
