Staff, cleanliness, quiet.
Main door does not have a ramp for the lugage and there is not hotel staff there to help you with it, you have to help yourself
Spacious, comfortable room We walked everywhere - supermarket, bus stop into the centre of town, place to eat, Retiro Park all close-by Excellent breakfast We found it very convenient for our stay
The staff are very friendly and helpfull for information and directions anytime we ask. Also I like the location. Thanks for staff in the reception.
The food was hot and very good. A wide selection.
There was a large tour group in front of us for breakfast. It took a while to reload the hot trays with the breakfast food. But, we were in no hurry. I think that is the name of the game touring Europe - don't be in a hurry.
The friendly and helpful staff were always on hand to help although some of those serving in the dinning room might have smiled! The hotel is quite centrally located for shopping and relaxing in the Retiro and it is beside a metro stop and several bus stops which makes getting around very easy. The rooms are cleaned to perfection but one thing, perhaps the bathroom might be better stocked when two people are staying.
Clean room, freindly staff recepcion
Location far from the city center, the window was closed and it opened only if call recepcion.
English speaking staff Amazingly reach breakfast
20 euro for parking, that's how hotels here are easily making money
To start with, the location is bad. The hotel is extremely dirty and smelly. The breakfast is below average standards. All in all, will never chose it again.
Nice, functional (updated) decoration and clean rooms. Excellent bathroom.
Difficult to connect to the Wifi. Cost of breakfast.
Staff.were helpful location was within walking distance to parks and art galleries or there was a metro station just across the road
I have't got anything I didn't like to make enough characters to amount to 200
The location was very convenient to tourist sites and old downtown and the metro. Rooms were modern and clean.
The wifi connection was poor and had to pay for use at business centre.
we stayed two different times in October/September and loved it both times. we have also spent time there three years ago and loved it then also.
Hot breakfast cold - service slow - waited 20 mins for cold dry omelette - eggs and other hot food cold Room had strip lighting outside which faded on and off all night and seen through curtains Leak in bathroom ceiling - reported - on first arriving - slow response and then no offer of room change - leak not fixed Bed legs broke on 3rd day - moved to junior suite - because of bed and continuing leak in bathroom ceiling - offered champagne and delivered - glasses filthy - new room spoilt due to the lighting externally - twin beds in both rooms could not be joined - difficult as beds kept sliding apart. Evening meal in restaurant not great - over priced Attitude of reception staff not brilliant Requested cushions for garden seats -,waited 45 mins - did not arrive Generally very poor Not a serial complainer at all and not registered a complaint before -.would not recommend - it sp
Hôtel très calme et très propre
Connexion wifi difficile
good location, I love Eixample, you can walk to the main places, a lot of restaurants and nice places
room nice but quite small, and not too much soundproofed
we have stayed 3 times, only complaint is slippery shower floor surface.
Good location..public transport and taxis at doorstep
No ramp for luggage from where the taxi drops guests to the hotel reception . I attended a congress in the meeting room...Europa... The acoutics was bad...this can be approved as it spoils the content of speakers when they cannot be heard properly
Beautiful rooms and great bathroom.
The beds are not so great, apart from that it is almost was a very beautiful and modern hotel.
stuff refused to speak english to me and only ever adressed my spanish speaking company
It was good value for money, the staff were nice and the room was comfortable and clean.
The hotel has a strange layout with 2 sides to it. The 'garden' was an artificial grass patio and the location isn't great.
Rich breakfast, friendly and helpful personnel, clean and comfortable
Well equipped rooms, nice modern design, adequate staff on reception, reasonable prices and good food qulity in cafe.
very nice terrace. Rooms are good. Breakfast also good.
Wifi did not work the first day.
Very good service, great breakfast, quite and convenient location.
the bathroom is very big and the design in the bathroom is considerable, water is so good, location is quite near the subway, you can even walk to the supermarket within15 minutes, and it's quiet at night.
we booked the room but not to be informed ahead that there are two buildings, the new one and the old one, and our room is located in the old one.
