Excellent hotel in the sierra nevada, great views and good facilities. I don't understand the complaints in previous reviews about the breakfast being to basic, the breakfast was good. Really friendly staff.

Excellent location, outdoor pool, very convenient for local restaurants, pleasant gardens to sit in, Lack of coffee/tea making facilities in room and no obvious alternative at pool/garden area during day, unaware in advance that parking was limited.

We arrived at the Finca hot, sweaty and tired. The swimming pool and patio area was an oasis on a very hot and dry day. Our first evening was enchanting. Our second day was heartbreaking as we received word that a relative had died at home. The woman at the desk was incredible. She spoke very little English and I spoke very little Spanish but she did all she could do to help us reach Granada so we could fly home. I will be forever grateful for the kindness of this woman. We plan on resuming our trip one day and we will begin at Finca Los Llanos.

The location, high up on Sierra Nevada is stunning, with panoramic views of the mountains. As a 3 Star hotel, the standards are at a good level and very adequate. The swimming pool and sun terrace were perfect and just the place to relax after a day in the mountains. The reception staff were very helpful on advice of activities and had adequate English. The value for money in accommodation and food was very good. While the accommodation was adequate, it would benefit from updating. The ventilation in the bathroom was poor and should be addressed urgently.

The room was clean and attractive and the staff were helpful. The location was excellent. We also enjoyed the small restaurant opposite the hotel. Taking the bus up to the high mountains and walking back to Capilleira was a highlight.

Pretty hotel in a quiet situation with close access to mountain tracks. Clean swimming pool with excellent views of the valley. Capileira is a picturesque, clean village which is worth visiting. Helpful staff and a pleasant, quiet dinining room. The path to Capadilla might best be started at the lower part of the town (away from the hotel) so that the walk ends with a restful descent instead of a steep, long climb. Fierce wasps that attacked my wife and children as soon as they opened the window. Abscence of fly screens to protect visitors from the numerous flies and mosquitoes. Abscence of ceiling fans or wall fans to cool the room (the hotel would be uncomfortably hot from mid June to late August). Abscence of any bottled water or kettle in the room, so it is necessary to leave the room and go to reception for any drinking water.

The helpfulness of the staff in reception who were very knowledeable regarding walking in the area. We got up late on our first morning but they were still happy to serve us some breakfast eventhough it was finished. We requested a room with a view of the mountains and they took note of this. The hotel is well situated on the top of the village so is fairly quiet with good views but within walking distance of the bars and restaurants. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend this hotel to others. We were fortunate to have a room with a wonderful view as we were on the fist floor level but rooms on the ground floor would have been disappointing in comparison as many did not have views.

We paid extra for a room with a view and it was worth it - so restful just sitting on the balcony enjoying the mountain view. The main advantage of this hotel (at least for English speakers) is that the hotel has prepared guides for various walks which are described in detail with landmarks to lookout for etc. I got a lot out if this. The staff are helpful and cheerful. The place has a real rustic feel - perhaps starting to get a little tired but it is nonetheless clean and comfortable. The pool area is great for sunbathing, there is also a lovely shaded terrace to sit in the late afternoon to avoid the sun, if you want to. Only a minor comment - If you need a hairdryer, bring your own as the one provided is pretty hopeless.

Great location for the hiking in the mountains.Very friendly and helpful staff. Good restaurant - menu each day with 3 choices for starter, main and desert for around 12 euros. Free internet and parking.Staff were knowledable about local hikes. Very well suited for hikers. The parking is really small and it's better to have a small car

Kind staff, good location for walking in the mountains, nice view to the mountains, the hotel has its own outdoor swimming-pool (although we did not use it due to the chilly weather). There was no possibility to regulate/switch on heating, although it was rather cold in the bathroom.
