Bra service I receptionen.

Vi försökte maila hotellet ang transfer från flygplatsen ankomstdagen, men de svarade inte.

Hotellet var modern, prisvärt och nära till både stormarknad och tunnelbanan.

Ett minus för att rummets AC inte fungerade korrekt, det tog lång tid innan rummet kyldes ner. För mig var hotellet för opersonligt.

Spa på hotellet, transport till och från flygplatsen var ett stort plus,det är bara att ringa till hotellet så kommer de att hämta Er efter några minuter. Frukosten var också jätte bra med flera olika utbud av både varm och kall mat, särskild färsk frukt och apelsin juice! Personalen på restaurangen var riktig service minded. Det finns även gratis shuttle till centrala Barcelona då måste man boka den dagen innan i god tid eftersom det är begränsad platser. Vi missade första dagen och hann med att boka till dagen efter, kl 12! Läget är ok, det fanns tyvärr inte någon matbutik eller liknande i närheten då behöver man något att äta så är det bara restaurangen som gäller. Vi var jätte nöjda med hotellet.

De hade glömt att städa rummet 1 av de dagarna. Det står att de erbjuder gratis minibar på rummet men det var bara 2 små vatten flaskor och inget annat mer och som sagt när de glömde att städa rummet då fanns det inte heller vatten i kylskåpet. Man kunde höra andra gäster som gick på korridoren mitt på natten! Frukost bullarna var jätte hårda och verkade inte vara färska men det finns flera andra alternativ man kunde välja istället.

Hög standard med bra frukost och mat. Utmärkt transferservice både till flyg och in till Barcelona.

Läget var inte optimalt för kvällsaktiviteter inne i centrum.

the beds were very uncomfortable. For a supposedly 4 star hotel, it was very strange to have such cheap furniture in the room. Although the decor was "interesting" and gadgety (fancy light controls), the hotel really forgot what is essential for comfort. the staff, again for a 4-star, were not very professional nor pleasant. we asked for the invoice after payment upon check-in, it was not available. the tall guy at the front desk said he'd prepare one for the next morning... he didn't. it wasn't even prepared for when we checked out a few days later. it was finally emailed to me. very poor sound proofing between adjacent rooms and corridor. we asked to switch rooms but the hotel staff told us it was full... although we barely saw any guests while we were there. very odd place. seems like eye got the shell of a 4-star but the content of a 2-star.

Good shuttle service, though we were late for the shuttle service, they managed to run an extra service.

Atleast they should provide water, kettle and tea bags to make tea for self when required

We loved this hotel! It was super funky & modern & felt like a much more expensive hotel. The value for money was amazing! We had our 9 year old daughter with us & they managed to fit a rollaway bed into our room without a fuss. The cool lighting set up was great & we enjoyed sitting in the bar in the evening having a cocktail...very hip place! We walked to the nearby shopping mall for a browse & also had a great lunch there in a tapas restaurant near the entrance to the mall.

Air Conditioning did not work. Had to ask 4 times for maintence personel to check problem. Checked air left and said he would return. he did not nor did desk call to respond. No change of room was offered. Quetion to see if air conditioning is working in room at checkin

The breakfast.

We paid for a superior double room in a different hotel. We got moved and put in a standard room with no mini bar and a broken shower - overall it was an awful experience. We will never come back. I will make a formal complaint when I get home.

Airport convenience &personable drivers

Front desk staff was boderline rude. Problem w/ lights in roomwhich was confirmed by staff member after I was treated like I was too stupid to know how to turn on a light. Was given a new room which staff should have moved me. They also wanted me to wait for technician. I had 1 day & didn't intend on waisting it waiting on a repairman & the repair. Front desk most definitely had an attitude about my refusal. There was supposed to be a shuttle to & from city. I was the 3rd person there waiting & lucky to get a seat! They grouped 2 Fira hotels on one bus. Even though bus said Fira Congess 80% of riders were from the other hotel.5 Guests from Congress were left to fend for themselves w/ no instruction given on metro to train travel needed.Other Fira hotel should have had separate transport or the driver should have returned. Bed was extremely hard & uncomfortable (I like a firm bed too) Metal headboard was cold! Television was beyond poor. 6 channels that required yet another technician to get the system on line. Also very little room information/services etc. Restaurant prices were ridiculous & I was completely ignored in the bar until I got up to leave after more then 20 min & only 3 other guests. You can keep the futuristic light show, colors & design. Personable staff working facilities & a comfotable bed would have been far preferable. Far better choices in the airport area available beginning w/ Ciutat del Prat Only friendly staff member was the shuttle driver.

The bed was poor quality - not good to have two singles put together to form a double bed. Proved uncomfortable for a couple sleeping together

Slow service at reception

Shuttle pick-up was helpful and design of suites was memorable. We liked the electrically operated blind which kept the room dark in the morning. Comfortable beds.

It appears that the lights in the WC and shower area were burned out (suite 203), at least we could not get them to work.

Excellent overall...great value, close to the airport. Easy parking. Very modern design and facilities. Great view of the city.

good overall value for the money

on arrival you have to be patient and may have to call more than once until the shuttle arrives. At departure, there are no problems with the shuttle. You can also not adjust the room temperature which was a little lower than desired.

superb....awasome.....must stay to believe..

The room was fabulous. Very nice facility close to the Barcelona Olympic sites, museums and fountains.

The spa was broken, but they did offer to take us to a sister hotel to use theirs.

Terrible beds ...

- Good food without being gastronomic... - close to the fair as I was there for an exhibition

- The blue light and the LEDs in the room that I coulnd't turn off

Fira Congress is a friendly hotel ideally placed for the Fira Congress Centre but you can also easily get into Barcelona city centre via the underground at Europa Fira a few minutes walk away. The rooms are modern with comfortable beds and a fridge which is really useful. The staff were very good and helpful and breakfast selection was good with hot and continental selections. We had a great stay for 4 nights and would book to stay here again.

We did have a problem with a flickering bulb in a light which was really irritating and it took 3 calls before they fixed it which only took a few minutes

Very well appointed, modern, clean and functional. Very quiet. Reliable shuttle service to the airport. Copious and varied breakfast buffet.

The (advertised) free wifi did not work in our room, nor in the public areas.
