Being a frequent visitor to their sister hotel, the Yaramar, we knew what to expect from the Florida Spa and were not disappointed. Staff are so friendly that regular guests bring presents and send them cards. The room was particularly comfortable with an empty fridge for our own drinks, kettle and tea making facilities and a ceiling fan as well as air-con. The triple glazing was so effective that we slept through a violent thunderstorm. Food was excellent with red hot plates so it didn't go cold while you faced the difficult choice of what to choose from the buffet. Unfortunately we did not find time to try the spa, maybe next time.

I travelled with my (mid-nineties) parents, basically just to settle them in before returning home (they stayed 2 weeks). Excellent hotel, especially off-season for more elderly guests. Comfortable, clean, excellent food, but most of all, great staff. Walk-in showers were a Godsend for anyone less able to step over a high bath side. More elderly guests in late November, but it just meant that the atmosphere was more well natured and jolly! Lovelly sea and port views from large balconies, providing you go high enough up in floors. Free safe and fridge - nice to not have to pay extra all the time. Excellent food. The rooms are a little smaller than some hotels, but still more than adequate.

Our third time at Florida Spa. In our room we liked the walk in shower and the fact that there is a ceiling fan as well as air con. They also have a kettle and fridge which is unusual here and English tv channels. Food was great, as usual and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Got a free Spa circuit but didn't have time to fit this in. It caters mainly for older guests as it is Adult Only. Very pleasant pool area with nice snack bar. All three of these hotels (Yaramar, Angela and Florida) are brilliant, if a bit expensive. Rooms facing South have great views but get the sun all day which can make them very hot. Everything else was perfect.

I found my stay at the hotel comfortable, enjoyable and value for money. Breakfast was varied and cleanliness of the rooms was excellent!! The only detail i noticed as frustrating was that my wifi connection keep dropping which forced to keep re-entering the code. Otherwise, just lovely!!

Florida Spa is an excellent hotel in the Yaramar/Angela group. It is more up to date than the others in the chain but with the same attention to detail and excellent friendly staff. Food is of a high quality with plenty of choice but not quite as good as the Yaramar, I thought. Rooms are lovely with an excellent walk in shower, and large balconies. Also the choice of air-con or fan for the hotter months.

The hotel was modern and luxury design touches. Clean, excellent position with sea and mountain views, friendly helpful staff, good breakfast lots of choice. The room smelt slightly damp, possibly a leak in the fridge? Not bad enough to complain, but I would have had we been staying longer. I booked this hotel because it had an indoor pool which was a back up incase the weather was bad, we had one full day of rain, but the pool was 10euro each to use, which I hadn't reslised when booking. Hence we never sa anyone use it!!

Location was good and the staff mostly very helpful and friendly. The drinks happy hour was exceptional value. Rooms were large and comfortable. Irritating muzak in the corridors and lifts and indifferent breakfast staff. Outdoor pool tiling needed repair. Minor complaints though. Did not spoil a very pleasant stay.

The staff at this hotel were friendly, efficient and most courteous. Nothing was too much of a problem. The food was excellent and there was a tremendous choice at meal times. The reception staff were exceedingly helpful and informative, whilst the efficiency and friendliness of Maria, and her staff in the restaurant was absolutely amazing. I thoroughly recommend this hotel for a stay in Fuengirola.

The food in the restaurant was of a high standard with plenty of choice. The restaurant manager (Maria) was particularly attentive. There was no bath, only a shower, and no bidet.

The realxed feeling as we walked in. The polite and attentive staff ( not too much , not too little) . The variety of salads and fish dishes and fruit .It felt so relaxin to be there. The veg were often over cooked. The dining room tables were very close. Could do with more wifi computers. There was too much demand and I could not check my return flights.# The entertainement was a bit samey. The dance classes could be better advertised and give more details who they were for and how much they were.
