The rooms were smelling, so dingy, breakfast nothing ..
Location, location, location Most everything in walking distance. close to metro and cabs out front
Lobby on second floor. Elevator small.
Hotel was in a great location right on La Ramblas. Everything was very clean and had a nice balcony overlooking the street. Nothing really fancy but very clean. Breakfast was simple but good. Would definitely stay there again.
It would be nice if the price was a little lower and maybe update the rooms a little, but really was very happy with our stay.
Location, personell help.
Matresses and pillows. Too hard. Need to be updated
- Easy to get around, metro, beach and town center in walking distance. Wonderful restaurants, cafes. The gothic area full of art and architecture and a fantastic shopping area.
-Decor needs a bit of facelift - Been in this area three times and have to say that petty pickpocketing has become an organized crime. I actually witnessed it happening.Would have loved to stroll around the area but after 24:00hrs but no way! This obviously is not the hotels fault.
close to all the action clean and tidy
the size of the lift, however there were stairs to use
Difficulty in sleeping as activity on streets continues all night long. If it is not people ( and they are not quiet) it is vehicles. Unfortunately this is not the fault of the Hotel but must be general for the area.
The room was clean and comfortable. Excellent wifi & view. La Rambla location
I liked everything but if your a light sleeper this is not the room for you!!
Fantastic, central location in easy reach of everything. Metro stop within 100m. Helpful friendly staff.
The noise until the early hours of the morning every night. Knowing this now, I would look for a hotel next time which is further away from the source of the fun!
The location was super. The attendants, very helpful
The beds. Matresses were worn out, pillow too hard. Very uncomfortable sleep.
The location was outstanding. The staff were exceptionally helpful. The hotel was comfortable, breakfast adequate but limited variety. Having stayed at far more expensive hotels on La Rambla this was by far the best experience.
The location next to La Rambla and Placa Reyal
Its proximity to best part of the old town
Location ideal for the port and restaurants
Close to metrô stations In rambla, in Cólon platz Good relation price/quality/location
Breakfast could be improve a little bit Reparations required Noise isolation of the rooms
you should climb a long ladder to use elevator.
Location is good for transport links, entertainment etc. Simple but adequate breakfast sets you up for the day.
On my travelling companion's side of the hotel, room noise levels were not an issue. On my side however, noise from a Night club could be clearly heard three out of four nights. You could say that that's to be expected but what sounded like a tradesman working through the night with a drill in the room next to mine was not.
Great location right on la rambla - easy access for everything! Clean & tidy Hotel - comfortable - air con - and reasonably priced
Difficult to find initially & breakfast limited to pasties rolls & baby bell cheese .... Coffee not great
noisy,staff so so,
Location is very good. Wifi works.
Some of the reception staff (not including the older gentlemen) could really do with some training. Correspondence with hotel prior to visit was extremely frustrating. Balcony doors did not lock properly, which, although not really a security concern, meant it could be quite noisy at night.
Location is the big plus.. I was also on an inside room so I didn't get street noise from La Rambla which is quite noisy. That's the main reason to stay there. The staff was also very friendly and helpful
They could have put a real glass in the room. As it was I only had one well-worn plastic pink cup. I guess if you want to stay on La Rambla this is a good choice....
In this hotel you pay mostly for the location. The staff is okay, a more smiling face would be a good plus. Breakfast is fine, but nothing special : Hot drinks, bakery, and some fruits and cereals... The room is fine, bed is comfy. English speaking staff.
Bathroom could be more clean, there is some dust, and some moisture aswell...
Good location, very friendly staff. Hotel is a bit run down. Rooms were made daily. Aircon plus fan in the room was a plus. Good value for money.
Breakfast-I prefer savoury to sweet in the morning and there wasn't much on offer other than babybel
