Comfortable, large rooms

Bedside lighting poor, not easy to read

I have previously used the Foxa on business trips. This time, we were travelling from France to southern Spain, and needed a stop-off point. The Foxa was ideal, we didn't get caught in the Madrid traffic, the ring- roads were easy to use. Also, the spa was relaxing, and the local restaurants are good. If you wanted to take a trip into Madrid, the station is 3 minutes from the hotel, and gets you into the centre.

Some rooms face over the ring-road, and can be a little noisy.

Impressive-looking common area. Great workout facility. Quaint decor. Overall a pleasant stay.

What was provided was good, however could beef up their in-house restaurant. In-room tv was very small, and not modern (no selection of languages as is available in Spain on most modern TVs). The curtain didn't fully cover the window; there was no way to completely block out the street lights at night.

The very best thing about the Foxa Tres Cantos is the quality of the rooms. They are quite superb. Large, beautifully furnished and very comfortable. Each room has a very spacious balcony too. The bathrooms are magnificent and the powerful whirlpool bath, complete with underwater lights is a must do. The building itself is quite something, with a 7 storey circular atrium topped with an ornate glass roof. It is a very smart hotel indeed. The hotel overlooks the site of the proposed golf course for Madrid's 2018 Ryder Cup bid.

On the downside, there is not much to do in the hotel, unless you're into using the gym. The bar and restaurant are very disappointing and usually very quiet. This is a pity, because there really isn't much in Tres Cantos by way of competition. Some may find the noise from the adjacent highway and train station to be a nuisance, but it has never really bothered me.

El interior del hotel es espectacular. Habitaciones muy confortables y tranquilas. El mejor descanso en hotel que he tenido en mucho tiempo. No probé el desayuno, comida, spa...pero en cuanto a alojamiento podría decir que el hotel está casi de 10.

Las habitaciones no disponen de cerradura electrónica (de abrir con tarjeta). Me parece una comodidad básica en un hotel de esta categoría. El coste de la habitación me lo cargaron en el momento de reservar...se que era parte de la oferta, pero me sigue pareciendo una opción poco elegante en cualquier hotel.

La habitación enorme. La cama king size. El jacuzzi en el baño. La decoración. Todo. Bo tengo ninguna queja. El desayuno también bueno. La recepcionista muy simpática. Repetiremos.

El precio de las suites junior

Pues sinceramente me ha gustado todo, excepto un par de cosas que pongo en la siguiente pregunta.

Que la calefacción no se regule desde la habitación, y que el Spa sea aparte del precio de la reserva.

La bañera de hidromasaje es un puntazo...y las instalaciones deportivas tienen buena pinta...

La decoración de las habitaciones y de todo el hotel es demasiado recargada y chabacana, estilo "Remordimiento".....hay que renovar YA¡¡ Por lo demás, todo bien, el desayuno pelín justo de productos de calidad tratándose de un 4 estrellas, pero no está mal. La situación está bien, al menos si vas a Siemens....

Excelente, como siempre. Soy un habitual en este hotel desde hace casi 5 años, y el trato del personal continua siendo exquisito como el primer día. Es muy importante para la gente que viaja mucho poder encontrar un sitio para hospedarse donde se siente como en casa. El hotel tiene un alto estándar, donde destacaría la cama súper cómoda, varias opciones de almohadas, y además un spa-gimnasio excelente. PS: En lugar de 2 noches, como inicialmente había contratado en Booking, sólamente estuve 1 noche.
