Mostly the ambience of the hotel
Location and large elegantly decorated and well equipped rooms
Room size and quality was excellent. Overall facilities very good. Staff where helpful.
No real issues just a couple of odd things. Entrance drive is not completed. Had a room/suite with a kitchen, there was no cork screw, needed to leave a deposit with front desk to get one (deposit was returned on departure)
The staff were happy and attentive. Every need was attended to promptly. The hotel offers ample of space for those with walking difficulties.
A few more hand rails on the marble to staircases as reassurance for those a little unsteady on their feet.
Nice location, beautiful area. Got good room , quite , no noise. In total nice hotel.
Traveled with pets.(40€ night) We sat OUTSIDE on the terrace, in the very corner and distance with others, (there was just one table of 4 people ), but we were not served drinks, because of our two Chihuahuas... The only thing made us sad at this place. Rest was good.
A lovely hotel beautiful gardens, the beach is a let down so you need a car, Couldnt fault the hotel. Will return.
Very busy dining room a bit chaotic must be a nightmare in the peak season. But only to be expected due to the size of the hotel We were fortunate to be travelling in October,
Lovely hotel with beautiful grounds, good facilities with spa, pool and nxt to the beach
The food was possibly the worst I have ever had. Breakfast was satisfactory with a good selection, but the lunch/dinner was awful. I ordered "carbonara" one time. The pasta was over boiled, the sauce was a massive congealed splodge on top, not mixed in, with no seasoning or flavour. Even the look of it was completely unappetising. I was shocked to get such a dish in a 4* hotel. Beautiful hotel but don't eat there!
Fantastic hotel facilities. Spacious apartment. We were upgraded to a 2 bedroom apartment for free. Very nice check-in, friendly and professional. Self catering available with supermarket within driving distance.
With the exception of the lady who checked us in, all staff are professional but unfriendly. We were refused entry to the breakfast salon due to an error by the hotel. We had to go to reception and wait forever to have it corrected. No apology. Our room/parking entry card was cancelled after our first night. We had to go to reception and wait forever again to have it corrected. Again no apology. Even the bar staff were not friendly. Breakfast was chaotic and average with long waiting. The dishwasher were broken.
The efficiency of all the staff. Queries and requests dealt with promptly. The outdoor areas overlooking the sea and lovely well kept gardens. A separate pool for adults only which is adhered to by the lifeguards who ask parents to take children elsewhere. Good food choices at meal times, a pleasant welcome on arrival at the dining room and by the chefs cooking on the grills. A comfortable bed. Good value for money.
The location of the room. It was on the front and next to a building site where the workers started work & JCB engines before 8am.
Kids club Pool Food
The 2-rooms apartment was spacious and pleasantly furnished. The terrace and view of the sea was great.
1) The staff was not well informed about their own restaurant facilities - it was either buffet or à-la-carte restaurant - and we had elderly guests for dinner, and we were given the run-around; the latter turned out to be a snack bar on the darken terrace, and one need a flash-light to read the small menu! The buffet restaurant looks like a canteen. 2) The apartment had an electric water kettle, but no tea or coffee or milk supplied.
As a single traveller I was given a large comfortable room with excellent facilities. Spotlessly clean
That without private transport you are stuck!
Quite far from local amenities
The staff were friendly and polite and the room was clean and comfortable with an excellent view. The food was amazing with a big selection. Pool was clean and tidy with plenty of open areas for our 18 month old boy to explore. Would book this hotel again in the future.
Would have liked a better selection of hot drinks in the room such as tea and coffee with milk to go with it and the beach is a bit sharp and stoney.
Everything about the actual hotel and facilities.
The distance from anywhere. Definitely need a car or hire a taxi to get around.
We were upgraded to a suite for free (due to overbooking?) & it was the size of 3 hotel rooms & decorated beautifully The grounds & facility were spectacular & the beach was superb Our kids weren't w/us, but definitely a kid-friendly resort
can't think of anything! :)
swimming pool spacious appartement
Comfortable, lovely grounds and pools, breakfast, access to beach.
Beach isn't great, not much else in the immediate locality.
Beach is very nice and one of best spots for long swimming.
First of all this is a kids summer camp! If you are young couple just trust me and do not go there. Unless you love to be surrounded with tens of kids (under 12) all the time. And second problem was layout of our room! we reserved a room with side-sea view. We got a room with shared balcony!!! This is actually fraud. These days there is a category for almost all kind of rooms. They MUST mention in their room description that rooms has shared balcony. It's super weird and very uncomfortable to share a balcony with strangers with couple of kids!
All facilities were well maintained and the atmosphere was welcoming and very comfortable.
Fantastic big clean pool, good food (including cava for breakfast), lovely buildings, great clean room, defo four star
Liked everything -though the music at night was a bit loud for younger kids watching the show . Would love to go back
Really clean, lots of activities, the staff were really helpful. The food was excellent too, good choice on the Buffet and all really fresh.
There were nice balconies form the bedroom and living areas.
spiral stairs to bedroom were a little awkward to get round with luggage
What you see is what you get. We searched for and found a vacation ressort type Fuerte Hoteles. And it perfectly matched our expectations. Even the animation fitted within the bigger picture. I can recommend it to other people that are looking for such holiday.
the staff were very professional, pleasant and helpful. Breakfast and supper buffets were very good and had a good variety to choose from. Apartment was comfortable and had everything you needed. Pools are very clean and having an adult only pool is welcomed. A good family orientated resort.
Bathroom and shower could do with screens instead of shower curtains.
