Gallery Hotel  

The hotel is efficient. In the perfect position for shopping and eating out.

We book five rooms. Some rooms need to add extra bed, the hotel prepare it without the charge. They also not mind about having children age under 12 to stay with existing bed. The breakfast is superb, the hotel offer half price which is 9 Euro for each. It is more than worth of the value we pay. Food is so good. We love parma ham, croisant, and nespresso machine. The location is superb, very close to metro Diagonal. We can walk to visit Guadi architecture and access to shoping streets pasage de Gracia in 10 mins by walking. also if the city bus station : hop on off bus is so close to the hotel. i would recommend this hotel to everyone, it is a perfect hotel that make everyone impress and happy.

The Gallery was with in walking distance of many tourist sights, shopping, restaurants, bus stops, Metro, and tour bus stop (just around the corner). We walked almost everywhere and caught the tour bus (ticket good for 2 days) for the out of the way places. The hotel was in the heart of everything but very quiet. The windows open for fresh air if I remember correctly. We would definitely recommend this Hotel or stay here again.

The hotel room is decent and clean and very comfortable. Location is excellent.

I didnt know if I'm unfortunate or not. I stayed in the hotel 2 days, the first day I stayed (6 Oct) there, all lights in my room (on 3rd floor) gone off suddenly. I was in total darkness and I opened the door to seek help. Then the hotel staff told me they will fix it, but after around 15min, the lights gone all off again! I asked for a torch in case such situation occurs again, the hotel staff then gave me a torch but when I tried to switch on the torch, it was out of battery.......... I was so dissatisfied and felt scared as I stayed in the hotel on my own. I complaint to the hotel staff and asked her if the situation will occur again, the staff's attitude made me mad. Her attitude was "I cant do anything, it just happen." I think the hotel didnt at all worth the money.

Single room was dark with small bed Terrasse so small ...

Breakfast prohibitively expensive (19 Euros per head). Bar staff were a bit glum and allowed us to book a table for 8pm when the restaurant didn't open until 8.30pm?

I traveled with a family group of 8. We occupied a triple, single and my own family of 4 occupied a family room which comprised of two interconnecting rooms! This gave us more space and 2 bathrooms. Big plus when traveling with teenagers! Location was away from bustle yet convenient. We looked forward to returning to the calm and quiet of the hotel after a day of sightseeing. Our room faced the street, yet we never heard any street noise. Paula at the front desk was a real gem. Her suggestions were very helpful- especially for tapas- it was the absolute best and was within walking distance of hotel.

It would have been nice if simple continental breakfast could have been included in room rate. If not, at least the rooms could be equipped with kettle and tea/coffee making facilities. I feel this could easily be a standard inclusion for this type of hotel. Also it would be nice if a basic visitor's package was available in the room- E.G. a city map showing nearby eating places (for breakfast and other meals),location of shopping, banks, etc. Some basic information which includes transport options with costs, some major sites/museums and locations, any entertainment or current events.

Gallery hotel was a very good surprise. Location was great, close to Passeio Garcia and main touristic attractions, but not close to busy Las Ramblas. Very friendly staff, always happy to help us. Bedrooms were confortable and extremely clean. I recommend Gallery hotel and I would stay there again.
