Very good,

“This was a really great hotel for our first two days in Madrid. It was a really short walk from the metro and also close to the center of Madrid. The staff was very friendly, and everything was clean and in good condition. I would recommend staying here!”

They have rooms on the ground floor. My room was very noisy (noise came from lobby, street and next rooms). And I couldn't set up Wi-Fi on iPhone.

This is a wonderful hotel for all kinds of stays varying from business meetings to individual sightseeing tripsas was my case. I am greatly impreesed with the location and its convenience to the centre, the politeness of the personnel and the cleanliness of the hotel. I found the breakfast a bit overpriced for 10E but the cafeteria option was a marvellous offer with excellent coffee. I would highly recommend the hotel to everyone. Mui Mui mui Bien. Maya

It was a hotel that was close to where a friend of mine in Madrid lives. That was the primary reason for choosing the hotel. I did like the coin operated computers in the lobby. The facade of this hotel lends the impression that it will be of reasonable quality. However, once you open the door to your room you find that you are in a very low end hotel. The beds were extremely basic and unimpressive. The decor was supremely dated. The street noise at any hour was at a high level and the problem I had was that I had to keep the window open because the thermostat kept blowing hot air into the room regardless of how I set it when turned on.

Good, clean and comfortable. Excellent location less than 100 metres from Metro station. Extremely quiet in rear rooms. Parking is NOT free as indicated on website but costs €19 per day (average for Madrid). Took two days to change a light bulb! Cleaners ignore 'Do Not Disturb' on door!

Excellent hotel, relaxed atmosphere, no frills but well run, clean hotel and a number of the staff had good english (to our shame!). Ask for a room at the back if you want quietness though as street noise lower down at the front can be noticed - but prob not enough to keep you awake. Great location and walkable to all the main sites.

The staff at the hotel were very helpful and friendly. The location was great with a metro stop about 2 blocks away and made for easy trip to anywhere you wanted to go. I like to walk and it was an easy 15 min walk to the Plaza Mayor. The rooms are a typical european rooms and I would stay there again.

Was pleased at the fact that it was so centrally located, clean and of a good standard in general. A fridge in the room would have been handy.

It was convenient to the metro and fit all our basic needs. Our room was a little small for a triple. It looked more like a double with a roll-away bed put in it. Paying the extra $ for a triple should give us a more spacious room.

Good location. About a 15 minute walk to Plaza del Sol. Lots of bars and restaurants in the area. The staff was friendly and helpful. The thing I didn't care for was the breakfast (pretty basic). The rooms are pretty basic too.

It was a plesant friendly hotel and very had very comfortable rooms. The only complaint I would have is there were three of us in the room and we were a bit short of space for our clothes eg not enough hangers I in the wardrobe only four but we managed living out of our suitcases but other than that we have no complaints the staff on the reception were extremly helpful.

Very comfortable and clean. Unlike a lot of the central hotels say on Gran Via, this hotel is close to the centre but not too near so it is nice and quite at night and I can at least get a good nights sleep.
