Score from 1383 reviews Very good
Near the city and a car park
The beds and pillowswe're so uncomfortable and you here everything as the walls are so thinhouse keeping were loud.
Balcony was great. Bathroom was great. Staff were good. It was really nice. Good walk to the centre.
Having to put our key card into the wall to get the lights on.
Tv. need more channels, and maybe refregirator.
Recomendable para estancias cortas.
la señal de internet en el cuarto era muy mala.
Very close to the city center, good breakfast. Rooms are clean, new but not big. There is a metro station 2 minutes walk. 10-15 minutes it will take to get by walk to the main square and shopping street, old town, royal palace (20 minutes). Very good location.
The staff at the reception sometimes seemed like robots without any welcoming smile.
Desk service was very professional with an upgrade offered as a repeat customer. Breakfast is excellent with many choices and again excellent service. Bar service always with a smile. Close to many authentic restaurants offering a range of fine quality food typical of the region.
WE discovered there is a disco on Sunday nights (yes Sunday, weird) opposite the hotel as well as a hostel. Madrid is a late night culture so there was constant noise of people shouting to each other in the street until 6am.
Convenient location. Access to a balcony. Restaurant makes good coffee. Helpful staff.
Location Was a nice place
Wifi was not great Room a bit small No shampoo in the bathroom
The staff were extremely helpful and very polite throughout our entire stay. The hotel was well positioned for our needs and the reception staff willingly organised taxis and advised on routes. Very clean and most welcoming hotel for our first visit to Madrid. The hotel offers a good choice of menu also.
position, friendly in the restaurant attached, clean
No fridge or coffee making facilities
Location, price, cleanniness, meals. We used the hotel for an overnight stop when passing through Madrid - all 3 of us were very impressed with the hotel and it's location - great for the metro (which we never used) but also within 10/15 minutes walk of city centre attractions
had issues with the door lock when we checked in - but it was just one of those 1 off issues, and it was fixed very quickly
Close to center 7 min walk
Churos should be available very day for breakfast not only on the weekends. Water coolers at each floor were a great plus
There was no churos on Monday for breakfast. (Churos is a Spahish traditional pastry not readily available elsewhere so it should be made every day for tourists)
Friendly staff, good location
The bed could be more comfortable and internet was slow
Location, rate, having parking but charged at 19 Euro per night.
Room a/c setting was a problem all the time, no refrigerator inside the rooms, staff not very friendly, Wifi needed to login each time we arrived in hotel. Rooms are very tiny. They charged my credit card with their bank's exchange rate which was very much higher than the normal rate. Their electronic payment system did not give option for payment in Euro.
Central location Secure garaging
Nothing to comment on
good location in the old part of the city and very close to the famous Plaza Mayor which is a must
No access to outside courtyard except for meal times and yet would have been nice to sit out with drinks from the bar. TV did not work at all.
Good location near metro. 10 minutes walk from center. Clean rooms. Wonderful breakfast.
Keys from the room did not work at first.
- helpful staff at the reception -hotel has its own car park
-a bit tired, in need renovation
Position very closed to two subway stations; staff very kind; enough comforts for the price.
The hotel is located very close to the metro station and bus stop. Breakfast has many options to choose from.
The room that we stayed in had a lovely balcony that was as big as our room with a small bistro set to sit at. The staff were quite helpful and spoke English very well.
The room was a little small with 3 beds in it if we were staying any longer then the one night it would have been very inconvenient.
Headline says it all: for the price, this is a great deal! Central location, even while it's still a good ten to twenty minute walk to everything, such as the Prado and Reina Sofia.
Spartan-like quality to the hotel.
