Check in was easy and conducted in a mix of spanish and english. The room was reasonably comfortable and very clean. For those who need the comfort of home, there is maybe 1 English tv channel in the sixty available and there is no kettle, ironing board or mini bar. Breakfast is in the restaurant on the E lift level (reception is on 0) and is basic. There are boiled eggs but no hot eggs. I didn't use the restaurant in the evening but the menu has good range. I would have chosen "in a mess (untidy) of mushrooms with ham of warehouse" followed by "colitas to the quick shave of the sailor" then "pleased with honey" for desert. Overall, a good hotel and better value than the NH Reus hotel that I normally use. Nothing to complain about. It is inexpensive if you do not add breakfast when booking as there are dozens of cafes within a few minutes walk. There is no Internet available but I'm sure that the local tourist board could tell you where there is a hotspot. I use an iPhone so the cost to use the net was about £2 per day. Overall, this is a very good hotel but it is best to learn some basic Spanish as you are in Spain. Adios

The location was good for the centre of Reus. You need to add another 8 euros for parking on top of your costs as you have no option but to pay for parking - there is a car park next door so not too far to walk to the hotel. The hotel has seen better days, room was reasonably clean but shower was hanging off wall and hair dryer (wired into wall) did not work. All of the sanitary fittings were quite lime scaled. I think someone had decided to play football with the room door as it was quite damaged, although lock worked fine. The reception staff were friendly but the guy who was running breakfast was shockingly rude.- we definitely had some Faulty Tower's moments during breakfast (which had just about run out at 0815, although they said it was on until 1000).

An inexpensive hotel with a good location just near central Reus. The complimentary breakfast, though very very busy, is substantial and includes numerous hot dishes.

Fiited the bill magnificiently, being near the town centre, convenient for all the local attractions and a very relaxing experience. The bathroom was a little tardy with the shower hanging of the wall and a plug that was as much use as a chocolate teapot.

Conveniently placed, good value for money My room although reasonably priced ,needed repairs carried out , such as fixing the toilet to the floor, having plugs for the sink and bath, having a drinks bar in the room or a bar open for the guests downstairs, the cafetaria floor wants finishing or repairing before someone has an accident, The staff at reception were very helpful, but the breakfast room ran out of food by 9 am , although we were told it was open till 10

The hotel Gaudi is in an excellent location in the centre of Reus (birthpalce of the architect Antoni Gaudi) The decor is in the modernist style of Gaudi and his contemporaries. The room was huge. The reception staff were friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. We didn't arrive until 10.30 pm so late check in was great and the receptionist directed us a a beautiful square 5 minutes away where we could eat. We had the "romantic deal" which included a very welcome bottle of chilled Cava in our room on arrival, free entry to the superb Gaudi centre and a free glass of Cava or a coffee at the casino in Tarragona. We were able to leave our cases in the luggage room after check out so we could explore the city in comfort. There is a great "Modernista" walk through the city with many beautiful buildings. If you are a fan of Gaudi, then the new Gaudi centre is well worth a visit ....superb exhibitions and very interesting items from Gaudi's early life in Reus. Many 3 dimensional items and a fantastic film show (7 euros to get in but free with Hotel Gaudi) Breakfast was a bit basic, but good all the same and all self service - even the tea/coffee and toast!

It's a basic business style hotel, no other choice though. It's clean and well located for the centre, a little far from the train station to walk with bags but easy to find if you do. Bed was fairly comfortable, room just needs updating A strange musty smell! Luckily the windows open!!
