Great staff, great location, and the place was eternernally spotless! I stayed in a 4 star hotel the night before and couldn't even get a cup of tea in the room - these guys had breakfast bar open all hours. They deserve to do well. The one thing was that it was quite difficult to find - there's barely any signage out the front. |

Location is good. Right next to Sol Station, direct to Atocha RENEF stations. Internet access is only avaliable in the TV Room and is very unstable and slow. |

Good location at city centre, unless you have a car as there is no parking anywhere nearby. Also the name of the hotal should be corrected to "Hostal Puerta del Sol", I don't believe it is a gay hotel (if there is such a thing). The rooms were bare and spartan. With a little effort they could be made much more confortable. |

The ambiance was great and it is situated in the center of Madrid, it was the perfect place to stay. Furthermore, the breakfast was included and you have free internet access. |

The staff were excellent and friendly. The breakfast was adequate. The location was incredible--right in the center of town and close to the sights and gay nightlife. I will definitely stay here again when I go back to Madrid. |

Staff were extremely helpful and welcoming. Location could not be better for staying in Madrid and despite it's central location there was no problem with noise from the surrounding area. Excellent common lounge area with free wifi internet and plasma screen tv. Breakfast could have been better. |

It was hard to find. Small sign on wall by door. If you didn´t know the system in Madrid it would be confusing. Hard lumpy bed. Bad Bad breakfast. |

The accomodation was fine for the short break we had. There was a friendly receptionist. It was clean, in a great location and good value for money but I wouldnt want to stay for a long period. There was not much storage space for clothes. the decoration and maintenance was rather neglected. Although we were told that the hotel was safe. There was no actual safe in the rooms and room keys were left on a rack which could be accessed by all the guests. |

A good hostel, friendly staff and well located, but the construction work of the new cercanias train station made impossible anyone to sleep after 8.00 am The room's window was broken, making more difficult to support the noise coming from the street |
