This hotel isn't for sure a tribute to Marriott. It's out of repair and our room has been anything than clean. The curtain has been holey, the walls staned and the furniture very battered. The atmosphere of the hotel is similar to the darkness in the hallways and the lobby. The internet is far too expensive. Breakfast has been ok but the coffee, kept warm in Thermos bottles, was horrible; not even a coffe machine.
The hotel is nice inside. Looks good.
Staff is always in a bad mood. Insonorization is terrible. The wooden floor cracks all the time. And, worst of all... I asked for a crib for my baby and they put it in the bedroom with vomit from a previous baby!
I really liked the room, the shower and it was very quiet,
I didn't like reception and the room was too hot.
Location. Bathroom - modern refurbishment.
Parking as usual was very tight and not helped by allocated place already occupied, so used adjacent space. I was asked to move & given new space, from which I was unable to open door! Staff member came down to inspect & told me I could use previous space! Not the reception to a Marriot I would have expected. Made worse later in stay when tried to use call button from garage to elevator which was totally ignored and had to use car ramp to get back to hotel Room had excellent bathroom but paper was peeling off one wall. No free internet access in rooms in this day and age! I would admit that I speak very little Spanish and the staff even less English, which obviously didn't help, but I have stayed in many hotels in northern Spain which have been cheaper or around this price and had a more pleasant stay. Town was excellent with good range of shops/ bars /cafes close by - all with friendly helpful staff. Staff cold definitely be more friendly,
friendly, efficient staff. Comfortable, modern room, car park on site, near to centre of city
Very near to the centre of the old part of town. The guided tour of the restauration work of the cathedral, a must see. Breakfast excellent. The hotel has no restaurant but around the corner is the excellent restaurant called Mesa.
Price of the parking, 15 €.
Good modern hotel.
Most Hotels in Spain don't charge for internet connection. The big chains should follow suit and not deter people from booking because of this.
wifi is not free of charge
There is no bar
It was a clean hotel, with a nice large room and easy parking. It was also only a short walk into the centre of town so if you've got a car and aren't sure where you're going, it's a good place to stay to reduce any uncertainty about where the hotel is (it's very easy to spot) and whether you'll get a car park or not. It was good value for us.
Some of the road traffic was a little noisy but it didn't really affect our sleep.
- The hotel in general and the location in particular.
- The shower facilities (imposible to avoid flooding the bathroom floor when having a shower).
