Very good value and the rooms were a very good standard. 5 star apartments.
Bit disjointed given this use to be a hotel and is now run as apartments. Would be good if there was a coffee area or social area other than the pool.
Location Beach Apartment facilities Staff
We loved the location, apartment and also the friendly and helpful staff. The balcony with views of the pool was great as was the close proximity to the sea.
Everything was great! Wish there was a train station on Marbella.
I thought the bed was a 2 out of score of 10.
I liked the rooms they were very spacious and the beds were very comfortable
I didn't like the food and also there were no English channels on the television. The room was not cleaned throughout our 6 day stay we were just given towels
Walking distance to Marbella. Near supermarkets, bus stops and taxis.
No oven in kitchen. Outside of apartment needed coat of paint. Only 2 English speaking channels on TV and they were both news channels.
Location, room size, kitchenette
In need for renovation, noise insulation weak, kitchenette equipment limited
No on site restaurant
On first impression our apartment was beautiful. Both inside and the balcony and roof terrace. The staff were really helpful and friendly.
As time went on we noticed many items were broken/ vandalised....lamps, kettle phones, a door handle, toaster even the stall to get in jacuzzi...! When we complained the staff were apologetic and replaced the kettle and one of the phones within minutes. After that we got bored of complaining and just managed (something you don't expect to do in 5 star accommodation). There was also a piece of broken glass in the bath on arrival. We can only guess that the apartment had been trashed by the previous occupants and although the apartment had been cleaned to a very high standard some things were missed.
We got pizza's with no cheese & no cutter, the person on the phone for room service did not understand us. The hot tub we could not use as we checked in late & we had to pay £45 extra, this is not on as it says room with spa bath not room and pay more for a jacuzzi.
The pool and pool side waiter service was very good, brilliant if you have children. Literally a 5 minute stroll to beach, where there are dozens of high quality restaurants. The staff looked after us very well and could speak and understand English well and helped straight away with any problem and booked taxis etc for you if asked. The rooms were cleaned every day and laundry done, even the table cloth was changed daily if required. Plenty of lifts for easy access to rooms and the balcony was very spacious with lovely views.
Would have liked the gym to be open as all the facilities were there.

Lovely spacious, clean apartment. Nice big balcony with spiral staircase leading on to roof with hot tub. Lovely garden furniture and nice and private. Really close to Puerta Banus (if you have a car) and nice beach a short walk away. Shops very near. Nice swimming pool, not too busy.
No restaurants or bars open in hotel. Facilities are a little run down but still fit for purpose. Roof terrace and gardens could do with a little TLC (decking painted around hot tub and sun shade had massive holes in)
Large apartment with good layout for a family. Two bedrooms, each with a large bathroom. Huge balcony with sitting group, dining table and Jacuzzi.
It is easy to see that this once were a 5 star hotel, but the standard is deteriorating fast. You get a lot for the money now, but the standard of the apartments and common areas (swimming pool) needs upgrading not only ad-hoc repairs. So, how long are they able to live on the legacy of the 5 star hotel?
Great pool. Great access to the beach. The room was nicely furnished, clean, and very comfortable.
We were first shown an apartment that had a very small balcony at the side of the hotel. We asked for a balcony overlooking the pool which they were happy to switch for us. We very much enjoyed the accommodations, the excellent pool and the friendly staff!
The kitchen was not very well equipped. Not enough dishes, cutlery or pots/pans if you want to do any kind of daily cooking for four people. The dishwasher did not clean the dishes which meant I was hand washing dishes a couple of times a day. Although it is a short walk to the beach, it's a much longer walk to good restaurants on the beach and in the old town. The staff were very friendly but did not seem well informed about local services. So make sure you know where you want to go and how to get there beforehand.
Location and quality if rooms
The hotel as it is closed looks vacant and it would help the atmosphere if a shop and bar was opened again
The apartment and location of the hotel
We were in a penthouse apartment with a juzzi, for the price we paid i expected top noch however the cleanliness of the tub and exterior of the hotel was poor, when we went to the hotel pool there was a dirty nappy which lay there for half an hour with several members of staff passing by, in our apartment the wifi lept cutting out and we had to reset the router several times, to sum up overpriced and overrated
These apts were extremely well kept and clean. Any requests such as iron, cleaning of room early, were quickly met. The pool was lovely and plenty of loungers. Towels also supplied.
It was a little ghostly downstairs as the bar shops and restaurants were empty. Otherwise a great choice.
The Apartment was really confortable, the frontal view, near the beach and Marbella center.
The location, the spaciousness of our room, the balcony overlooking the pool. Breakfast every day was great.
The negative reviews that almost made us change our reservation - but this is a great place, great value!
We really liked the apartment itself, although we were overlooking the gas station. Location was brilliant, a stroll from Marbella old town and 5 minutes from the beach. Unfortunately the hotel itself is a ghost town. The ground floor, which used to be opulent and a thriving area of bars and shops, is now all closed off with only access to the well maintained pool. The hotel also seems to be split between boutique apartments and suites, with a hotel room being the welcome desk for both. All very strange.
Location Friendly staff Wifi in all areas
Noise levels at night with an absence of on site monitoring or security Noise levels at the pool area were inappropriate from other guests and detracted from a relaxing break Although clean the apartment needed some repair - painting , etc
I loved the location and the rooms were very spacious .
