We really enjoyed our stay. Kitchen provided more than expected and included things like washing up liquid, microwave, tea towels and bin bags that you would normally need to acquire yourself anywhere else. The staff were very friendly, always polite and happy to help. The only issue was the lack of public transport as the shops and restaurants are not walking distance away and a car is a must otherwise taxi can prove to be costly. Best sleep I've had in ages as the apartments are located in remote and peaceful area with no traffic or noise around.
Lack of shopping and restaurant facilities and lack of public transport
Quality-price was excellent.
The room and estate is very nice and was great value for money.
The holiday estate is located over 14km from la Linea, so a little remote with not too many places to eat. This location is fine for people with Transport, but not so great for people on cycles who would have to negotiate a very steep hill to pop out for the evening.
We only stayed overnight so did not play golf but the course looks great. short stroll to a lovely beach with views of Gibraltar. The rooms were fairly basic but nice and the pool was good, you probably need to drive to find restaurants.
Very near to Gibraltar which is what we needed and the village of Alcaidesa is really nice. Hotel was basic but suited our needs as we just wanted a base.
They charged us 6 euro per night for the travel cot for the baby which i have never had before. There was no bar or restaurant which is not ideal as there is nothing within walking distance. The floors could have been a lot cleaner when we arrived - hair and sand everywhere which wasnt great as my baby was crawling. The kitchen is very basic - kettle broke, bottle opener broke, no toaster.
The flat was pleasant, spacious with a nice terrace.
The location is very bad : in a "residential area" were there are a lot of properties which were supposed (before the crisis) to welcome the inumerous tourists; most of those are empty or unfinished. So, this was one of them in the middle of nowhere. Must definitely have a car ( if not, don't stay there) as everything is far... there is a sort of minimarket at 3-5 kms, but you will find almost nothing. The phonic isolation between apartments ( these are "casa adosadas" tipical of Spain, which by the way are very uncomortbale as you are supposed to have a house, but you have the same discomfort with the neighbours as in a flat) is very bad, you can hear everything.
Nice view from terrace.
The baby bed was charged 6 Eur and there was no bedding on it. We used towels for baby to prepare bed.
Large and clean.
A little out of the main city and not many restaurant options.
Clean, modern comfortable apartment. Lovely pool and garden area. Good value for money in a very nice quiet area.
Kitchen was missing some essential items like Toaster, Bread Board. No iron in the apartment. Only 1 pillow each.
Friendly staff, well equipped rooms, and a nice outdoor deck with table and chairs to use. The beach was fairly close and convenient, but it was still a car job to get there.
The WiFi was problematic, and I did not expect to be staying in a "resort gated community" with no character buildings= just new dwellings trying to create a holiday atmosphere. Very limited for things to do in the village.
Very clean spacious very friendly would df go back
Apartments were ok. Beach is very nice but a ways away. Very welcoming restaurants in Alcaideza resort near the beach
Staff talks to you as little as possible not welcoming at all. location a bit of a drive from things, u need a car.
Ideal location for what we wanted
Furniture/chairs tired and needed replacing. Sofa in lounge was a bed not a sofa. You had to order breakfast but they don't tell you
Clean comfortable accommodation which for an overnight stay for 4 was great value compared to Gibraltar hotel prices.
Little remote and not too easy to find
Apartment was spotlessly clean and decent shower with plenty of hot water. Pool was fine but not enough sun beds in peak season and I should think it would be very noisy
Basic kitchen utensils. Not good if you wish to self cater and cook
Layout of room - lots of space, nice verandah and pool.
No toaster, dangerous kettle and very small television.
A good place to stop when passing through, quiet and a 5min drive to a beautiful beach. For the price we paid was really worth it
Spacious apartment and very comfortable bed. Excellent value for money
No bar, snacks of social area. OK for a night or two but would be advetagious for a longer stay
The bed, the wardrobes, the terrace, the shower/bath. The pool. Helpful reception. Plenty of hot water and good pressure.
Too far away from civilization. No toaster, limited crockery, pans, etc. no can opener! No dressing table in bedroom. Very noisy extractor fan in bathroom. Internet access poor to rear of building
Everything was wonderful - recommend to anyone it was a pleasant surprise what a beautiful little town
Only one restaurant but not far walk with lovely staff at the Ivy Bar
The apartment was freshly decorated and had everything needed for a self catering holiday. The location was lovely and quiet the pool was clean and accessable. The beach went on for miles and really clean. Lovley location.
Lack of amenities. Need to have a car. Local shops very limited but sufficient if you had food with you.
Location was very good for visiting the beach where the view of Gibraltar was very good. The apartments were close to bars and restaurants. Nice area to stay.
Great value nice and clean staff very helpful
No internet cable in room , booking.com said it would have an internet cable in room
Nice large apartment. Great view of Costa del Sol. Good secure parking...plenty of room for loading and unloading.
Could not get on wifi when we arrived, had to wait until the next morning. A few staples in the kitchen would have been nice like salt, pepper, etc. Property is difficult to find; it wouldn't come up on our GPS.
We stayed here for a week whilst visiting family - our second stay, which probably says it all. The apartment had everything we needed at a great price. Staff were good too.
