In Plaça del Pi Square, El Jardi is in the heart of Barcelona’s Gothic Quarter. All of the air-conditioned rooms include a safe and TV, and most have a private balcony overlooking the square.
Score from 597 reviews Very good

Located 50 metres from Barcelona’s Diagonal Avenue, Residencia Nuria is a 5-minute walk from both Diagonal and Verdaguer Metro Stations. All rooms and dormitories have a sink.
Score from 314 reviews Good
The location is simply perfect, just few hundreds of meters far from "La Rambla" and Plaça de Catalunya
Breakfast was bit poor and of low quality.
Only the location
Almost everything from the ill functioning door lock to the desk that was falling apart and the unfriendly staff. The "hotel' is so old and outdated not to mention ill maintained.
Good location, big room, good wifi
There is mosquito in the room. No mosquito
Most of time I felt like living in 5 bedroom appartment. Owner was friendly and said to feel like at home. And to tell truth, felt like it. Location is perfect for Barcelona.
Not really into cruasan breakfest, they are tasty, but not really main food. Good that they had cheese and corn flakes. 15 euro fee for late arrival was not something I liked too. It is understandable, however bit downside. In general there are not many complaints.
Convenient location right in the city centre with a great view from the balcony. Great host, very helpful. Nice people stayed along with us.
The apartment is a bit old, but still it's very stylish and comfortable.
The caretaker can't speak English, but he was very kind and helpful. The whole flat is quiet and clean.
The positive thing was location that is really near the Gothic Cathedral and half an hour by walk from the beaches of Barseloneta.
After arriving and receiving the keys was weird to discover that rooms are closing not with key, but with a lock from outside. The B&b owner was speaking just Russian, so not Russian speakers should face some difficulties. The owner asked to pay at once, they don't accept cards, so is necessary to pay with cash. The receipt was written in Russian, so I am not really sure if it is valid in Spain just in case. The room was very small, I would not suggest to stay there in summer, because it was incredibly hot. The window went to a small closed internal court, so did not help to get some air at all. A not really a good thing was also the light that entered from the windows in front of the court. So the light that was there in the night was totally missing during the day, cause closed court window did not give any day-light. Was necessary always to use the electrical one, but it was very dark the same. Of course it's not a high-price and good quality place, but even with this conditions, seemed that owners did not care too much about guests.
I was lucky to stay in a room which is not connected to the street, it was quite to sleep. Wifi was always present. I like to stay in original gothic houses, although they are less comfortable.
This B&B is run by Russians, when I arrived I was asked to paid atfront the total amount. They only accept cash and it was 22h at that time, I had to go on the street to look for money with a man sleeping on the street 10 m near me. The doors are locked with a little padlock, it is possible to open the door by unscrewing 3 screws. Mostely their is nobody present at the B&B. Breakfast as promised is to made by yourself with products in the refrigirator. I suppose bathrooms and kitchen are cleaned and supported daily, but I never saw someone. The fan in the room was out of service. But I don't make much use of this. One day I run into the person who I paid to the first day as he was introducing new arrivals, he tried to avoid speaking to me, I think he tried avoiding comments. I didn't have to pay city tax, I suppose he doesn't report all tourists, or non. I didn't make remarks about anything, I did spend a good time in Barcelona.
The location was good and easy access to metro and buses to the airport. I liked the fact that had a kitchen so we didn't need to spend money eating out all the time. Everything was clean. The room was big but I went on holidays not to spend time in the room so was perfect for me. The only thing that I think they should get is a sign because I got a bit lost to find it.
Quite nice a place and the staff, close to rail station!
Perfect location: only few minutes walk from the underground, and about 20 minutes walk to the sea. There is a 24/7 shop directly in front of the building. Very comfortable: it's a 3-bedroom appartment with common kitchen, dinner room and balcony with a perfect view. Not many guests, so nobody will disturb you. Nice staff: very friendly russian speaking couple that helps you in whatever you need
the location was perfect
It was a flat with 3 rooms to rent. None of them has a usefull window! Only the livingroom, with balcony to. An old plastic christmas tree stands in the livingroom, the furnishing was a mixture of plastic flowers, four old wooden wall clocks, russian style and spanish furniture. Breakfast was madeleinas/muffins with milk in the fridge. No payment with card, only spanish speaking - owner of the flat.
Well located, price was reasonable for a room. Shared balcony is above Via Laietena with a view of St. Eulalia's cathedral. Employee was very helpful when we asked to leave bags in the B&B on our last day while we did some touristing.
Like others, we were in a room with an internal window and very little natural light. The room was very spartan, but we did not intend to spend much time there. Only one bathroom shared for all, and no hand towels provided. No signs posted for location or anywhere, cash only payment.
I did not like anything other than it had free wi fi
This has to be the worst BB ever that I have been to at the price of a hotel. firstly there is no sign to say its a BB . it is some ones flat. There is not locks on the bedroom door just a bolt you could break with your finger. Breakfast is a joke. The cakes are stale and the milk is not fresh and there is no juice. The bathroom is not ensuite. it is a room again outside the Bedroom with no locks. The owners do not speak English. Avoid this BB at all costs
Quiet and homely. Nice to meet other traveller in the kitchen. Ok to have a well equipped kitchen. Good location.
We booked a room with private bathroom, and expected to have the bathroom connected to our room. Instead the bathroom was in the hall between two other rooms..., but still private.
Great location ! Nice and clean room.
