Hotel Gótico  

We stoped in Gotico hotel from 27-03-2012 till 31-03-2012. Your reservation will not fit the room in fact. We paid and expected to receive big room with hall, main room and balcony. Instead we received room with two beds, 4 m2 square, without any window and with bad smell inside! At least next day we received a little bit bigger room with window. The breakfests were horrible.

Hotel staff was polite, breakfast was substantial and location was absolutely perfect!

Our room had two twin beds pushed together, the bathroom door didn't latch closed and had we had much difficulty with the room key card lock system.

Friendly and helpful staff. The hotel is in a very good position as its so close to the Metro and La Ramblas. Very clean and pleasant hotel. We will be re-booking here for another visit in a few months time.

Location Location Location. Right in the center of Barcelona, in quick walking distance of all the centrally located sights and restaurants.

There is no internet. Not in the room and not in the lobby. To not offer internet in 2011 (in some form or capacity) is quite questionable. However, Starbucks is two blocks (2min) away and for a cup of coffee you get 45 min of 'free' internet. That is usually enough and in the end cheaper than what most hotels offer (unless it is included). An additional comment is that the bar of the hotel was closed at all hours (Mon and Tue). Not that important, but sometimes still nice to have a last nightcap there or to take it up to your room. Finally, the rooms were clean, but are in need of an update (although I have seen worse). All in all, not too bad, but nevertheless I will plan my (business)-trip more in advance and get a different hotel, even if it is 40.- euro/night more.

Accueil inexistant ...

Hotellet havde en rigtig god morgenbuffet. Det var nemt at komme rundt I byen til fods fra hotellet og opleve byens mange seværdigheder. At værelset var lydisoleret var et stort plus idet det vente mod gaden. Hotellet var nemt at finde og I gå afstand fra busstationen ca. 1500 M.

Es la segunda vez que estoy en el Hotel y he repetido porque la ubicación es muy buena, el hotel está muy bién en relación calidad- precio y tiene un desayuno estupendo.

Mir hat besonders gut die zentrale Lage des Hotels gefallen. Das Zimmer wurde gut gereinigt und gepflegt. Die Betten waren in Ordnung, allerdings gab es keine zusammenhängenden Betten.

Nur wenige. Nachts war es durch die direkt angrenzende belebte Straße teilweise sehr laut.

Hotel muito bem localizado, muito limpo e com instalações satisfatórias. Café da manha bem diversificado e farto.

Falta de rede wi-fi nos quartos, e nos demais locais o acesso não e gratuito.
