Gran Hotel Barcino  

Location . It was perfect located in getting to a lot of things . Rambla street , rambla market , piaza catalunya , stop of bus from airport , start of city bus tour , shopping , restaurants near ( I might ad also a lot of good ones )

If it is in the transit period in 12-18 dgrs external do not expect to get heat in the room . Also a part of the personel ( 1 men exception ) is not prepared for having customers which demand 4 stars as they write on the internet page of booking . It is not a 4 star hotel - no bar , minibar empty , toilet an important item missing, etc . It is a fine hotel to stay , do not expect much from breakfast , i woul not rate it 4 stars maybe a 3+ . I would rate the hotel at a four star level with a 6-6,4

Great location but so noisy we couldn't sleep despite the hotel claiming to have good double-glazing and our own ear-plugs! Breakfast was a very good continental style and fresh, tasty food.

Noise levels very very bad. Need to consider proper sound-proofing. No English televisions whatsoever! This was the first hotel I have stayed in for at least 15 years that doesn't offer some kind of satelite/cable television, at least a news channel in some language other than their own. Poor!

Very noisy environment.Room was not protected against outside loudness as described on booking.com Homepage. Wlan is not in the hotel! Please correct that in your hotel description! We even could not do the checkin as there is no printer abailable.

The central location was brilliant and staff very helpful.

The only problems we found with the hotel was we requested a double bed and got two singles pushed together as did a couple of other rooms by the sounds. With no carpet the beds that were a double but werent would slide across the floor upon movement. This could be heard happening from other rooms which could wake you up during the night a possible answer to this could be to insert rubber stoppers under the bed legs.

Dietro espressa richiesta, il direttore ci ha assicurato che potevamo decidere di non consumare la colazione e,quindi, di non pagarne il costo. Ciò nonostante, il costo delle colazioni (16 euro a testa) ci è stato addebitato sulla carta di credito e a nulla sono valse le nostre proteste.Tra l'altro, sebbene richiesta in anticipo, la fattura ci è stata consegnata cinque minuti prima della partenza, probabilmente per evitare contestazioni. Nell'albergo non c'è un internet point, nè un bar, nè un'area comune dove poter vedere la televisione.Nelle camere, venivano trasmessi solo programmi spagnoli. Avevamo chiesto la prenotazione di un taxi per raggiungere l'areoporto di prima mattina. La prenotazione non è stata effettuata.

Bra läge. Gångavstånd till shoppping sevärdheter, strand. Bra frukost. Bra också att man betalar på hotellet vid utcheckningen, och inte i förväg.

Die Lage ist sowohl zum Shoppen, Sightseeing als auch zum Ausgehen sehr gut.

Die Zimmer sind abgewohnt. Flecken an den Wänden und der Decke. Die Betten habe sehr unangenehme Gummiauflagen. Das Personal ist teilweise sehr unfreundlich und unwillig

Lo unico bueno es su buena hubicacion, cerca de la playa( 1km), zona de fiesta (1,3km), y les rambles (300m).

Cuando llegue por la noche, no tenian mi reserva y me quisieron hechar indirectamente, diciendo que no la tenian y que me tendria que irme a otro hotel, despues de media hora, y haberle enviado la copia de la reserva al hotel, me dio la habitacion y con dificultades. encima sin ventanas, era como una cueva. si no me cambie de hotel fue por vagancia. Pero lo peor de todo es el ruido que hay apartir de las 7 de la mañana, para la gente no madrugadora, molesta mucho. Y el desayuno no es muy variado. Conclusion del viaje: "no volvere a este hotel"

La ubicación es estupenda. A 1 cuadra está la estación de metro. Encuentras lugares para comer para todos los gustos y presupuestos. A pie puedes recorrer muchos lugares turísticos ya que es una zona muy segura.

El ruido del ascensor se percibe en la habitación lo cuál es un poco incómodo
