size of room was lovely overlooking patio

friendly staff, quiet and very relaxing,upgraded to a suite due to a water leak from my room,as a solo guest felt very comfortable.

attention to detail on cleaning, net curtains in both rooms were marked and didn't look clean, marks on pillowcases and towels.hot breakfast lukewarm, coffee served from vending machines not good.

The opening hours of the spa are still quite restrictive. In the past few years I have stayed there a number of times and still haven't managed to get to the spa as it is always closed when I seem to want to go (i.e. in the evenings after a day by the pool)

We paid €65 which was excellent. Room was large, public areas very impressive, spa good, pool and gardens V. good and it's a great location on the edge of Benahavis village.

It's all a little tired. Carpets worn, towells look old, steam room out of action. At €65 it was good value but if we had paid what they say is their normal rate of €150 we would have been disapointed.

A very warm welcome from the receptionist when we arrived, friendly and helpful. Lovely large room. Breakfast was good. We like Benahavis for an eveing out, it is a short uphill walk into the village, but it just helps to give one an appetite!

Proximity to a variety of restaurants

COLD swimming pools which also needed cleaning as there was debris floating on the surface. Only ventured in the once!

This is our second stay at this hotel. The rooms are of a very generous size and are kept very clean by the staff.It is in a lovely quiet position and yet only a minutes drive up to the village centre or a 10/15 minute walk.

The only complaint I would make is about the breakfast. The amount and range of food on offer is fantastic, the downside being there are not any hot plates on which to put your food. Unfortunately being a buffet breakfast the food is kept under lamps to try and keep things hot, but needless to say this does not work, so if you enjoy barely warm egg and bacon and only cold plates to put the food on then it might suite some people but not myself.

I love Benahavis. The hotel is in such a pretty location. The gardens and pool are well kept and staff are very nice.

The hotel was quiet so they seemed to only use one floor. the carpets of which were very badly stained and grubby. The walls needed to be painted and the lift was broken for the entire time we were there.

The customer service at reception. They were really friendly and socialable. Also, staff at restaurant were nice and made you feel comfortable.

The external seating and grounds were excellent. The short walk to get to the village was easy although uphill.

Hot breakfast bacon, eggs etc was cold on both days as was the coffee. Room fine but no satellite tv only spanish. The 6 euro charge per day for wi-fi I thought expensive.

Breakfast not good same thing everyday and not good quality for a 4star hotel. didn't eat there at night so can't comment.

Nice room, great spa, very good location

The location, pretty village,spa at hotel friendly helpful staff, large room but lacked a view. We can even take our dog with us for 20 e per night.

The hotel is great to relax and enjoy the spa and the restaurants in town are excellent I would recommend Los Abanicos restaurant.
