Puerto de la Cruz is one of the most popular tourist destinations in the Canary Islands and is a great area to practise a wide range of sports

The Grand Hotel El Tope is situated in an ideal area in Puerto de la Cruz , with beautiful views over the city and also wonderful views of Mount Teide, all just a five minute walk from the centre.

Close by you'll find "Lagos Martianez" an exotic seawater pool complex (designed by Cesar Manrique ), Botanical gardens, Playa de Jardin, Loro Parque, Casino Taoro, fishing port, diving and many restaurants

Icod de los Vinos with the legendary Drago.
Garachico, the oldest fishing port on the island with a very nice natural landscape.

La Orotava, a historical, monumental city.

Very good connections between islands you can go back and forth on the same day.

The room was clean and comfortable, the hotel was situated close to the center but in the tourist center. The food was excellent and the service second to none. Above all the value for money could not be beaten.

The fact the fitness facilities were an additional payment

Das Hotel ist wohl auf Gäste von TUI usw. eigerichtet, für mich als Individualreisende war es etwas schwierig, die Hotelinformationen(Telefonnummern, Öffnungszeiten Fittnessraum usw.) zu bekommen.Die Informationen liegen nicht im Zimmer aus. Es brauchte erst mehrfache Nachfragen an der Rezeption, um ein etwas zerknittertes Heft mit Infos zu bekommen
