The location, hotel is situated right on the beach, the nicest beach in Tossa which is really beautiful with wonderful views of the whole coastline. A walk to the town is only 5 mins so ideally located for eating out, shopping etc I stayed here with my baby son who is 3 months old and my parents. I emailed the hotel before hand to let them know I was arriving late at night and I needed a cot for my baby. When we arrived before 12pm that night, they had no cot ready, they put me in a single room which was so small I had to move the bed up against the wall and take a chair out of the room and put on the corridor just to make the cot which was brought up afterwards to fit in. You could not walk around the room without tripping over bags etc. There was not even a fridge or kettle so I could make and store my babies bottles. In fairness we complained to the hotel and the manager Nuria was extremely helpful and moved us into a suite after 2 days. This was better as there were 2 rooms for us to share and a seperate sink and worktop to prepair babies bottles, however we did have to buy our own kettle and use the fridge from the mini bar to store the babies bottles. There is also alot of steps in the hotel when moving from floor to floor without a lift so I needed alot of help getting the buggy around. So in my opinion, if you have children/baby or have difficultly getting around with mobility I would not recommed this hotel. However, if you are a couple on your own I would recommend it.

The location of the hotel was the fantastic. When we got to the hotel the staff were very welcoming and friendly. It is very clean and has a great pool with plenty of sunloungers We were halfboard due to the fact that it was only 10 euros per day for both of us, however we did get very bored with the food after the first two days. One night we queued 35 mins for supper, no apology and a very stroppy waiter. The hotel was in the best location overlooking the beach and with a short walk to Tossa de Mar, which was wonderful. We hired a car and went to Barcelona for one day which was well worth it. The rooms are very small but clean and modern. We had a room overlooking Tossa and the beach which seemed to be one of the best views. I would definitely go back to Tossa de Mar, might try a different hotel next time, however this hotel ok, if not a little unpersonable. The food not great, typical hotel food.

We strongly recommend this hotel, without even thinking it twice. The staff was very welcoming and the breakfast was very good It is also in a very good place, around restaurants an has the best view to the sea in comparison to other hotels in the area.

מלון מעולה. we really enjoyed staying at the hotel. the staff is very kind and the room we had was super. Notice that there are serveral types of rooms. we took the 2 + 1 room in the same price and those room are superior then the regular ones. They have great balcony and they are newer. We really recommend this hotel. Its' location is best As i said before we saw two types of rooms. They regular one is not so great. I advice you to request the 2+1 instead which is superb

To like - The location overlooking the sea - the beach is in front of the hotel, down a flight of stairs. The big swimming pool. The deck level solarium. The enormous buffer breakfast. The bar area, which looks like it's been recently refurbished. The room's terrace. Free wi-fi in the room. A stocked, if expensive, mini bar. Didn't use the gym or the Spa but they looked the part. Much too expensive (€300/night), even for late August. Quality of the rooms less good than the communual areas. Rooms are showing signs of wear and need refurbishing. Room equipment & bedding extremely spartan & simple. Old scratchy no-channel tv. Cleaning staff enter the room before 9am without knocking. Room cleaning is sloppy. Fair amount of room to room noise, banging doors, electric shutters opening and closing. No partitions between the outdoor terraces = no privacy – you sit alongside the people from the next room. The hotel is pitched as a beach resort. Simple solution is to go out and to not spend much time in the room !

Hospitality and will to help by the hotel staff.Meals were nice and not overstuffing.Place is the best will suggest to any type of tourist. The hotel is quite luxury but not "owing" you to be a1st class tourist. One of the best hotels in the area.Would like to outstand the reception officer named Lyana who has willingly helped us with any issue we needed. One of the things that a little bit made un-convinience - charging for basic drinks at lunch (mineral water, basic sodas...).No basic water or juices are availble on board.

Location is fantastic, right on the seafront at Mar Menuda/Tossa de Mar and about 30 mins from Gerona airport. Staff at hotel are really friendly & helpful. We have stayed here many times - only down side is the price is creeping up since it broke away from Best Western. Overall would recommend it. Price is going up and possibly out of our reach for a longer stay. There is also some noise early in morning at rear of hotel in service road.

Very good dinner as part of our half-board, very good service staff. Large breakfast buffet in the morning. Great location of the hotel at the end of the beach and its sea-front. Small beach directly in from of the hotel, main beach 5 min to walk. Very nice and pretty view from balcony. Nice hotel terasses with free (and enough) deckchairs, large pool (not good for small children) and small outdoor jacuzzi, tennis, playground and large spa (extra costs). Clean beach and clear see water (due to pebbles, rather than sand). Private parking with extra costs of 12 eur per day, however completely safe and clean parking garage (with personal assistance if necessary). Bathroom smelled and would need more cleanliness over the years. No sandy beach, but consisting of very small pebbles.
