Score from 828 reviews Very good
The hotel has a really good location next to The Duque Playa which proved to be The nicest beach for us In Costa Adeje. I would like to say many thanks to Ruben In The restaurant who made our dinners even more enjoyable during our stay. Anyway, all The staff was extremely helpful And nice. We are sure to return to The hotel a day.
The wifi was rather poor In The room, it stopped working for any reason to explain. We had a kind of Browny water because of a technical problem on The last day. But these were just minor things to mention.
The breakfasts were excellent, with a large variety of food. Nightly entertainment was a good idea, as I travelled alone. The Spa has a great range of things to do and you can easily spend a couple of hours there (the limit is 4 hours). The lady turning down the beds in the evening was very pleasant, as were 1 waiter and 1 waitress at breakfast. My room was lovely and bright and had everything I would expect from a 5* hotel.
The hotel is rather soulless, like a lot of similar hotels I have stayed in. Staff dealt well with enquiries, but in general did not really engage with the guests. The 'Manager' type in a suit doing the rounds at breakfast some mornings did not appear to be able to cope with the idea of a guest on her own, he chatted away to others but ignored me. Despite all the signs to the contrary, guests were allowed to book sunbeds. This was a bit of a problem as only half of the sunbeds are in the sun in the morning. The manicurist could do better applying nail varnish.
Location was truly great. Our room overlooked the sea so had sun all day and amazing views. Staff were so friendly and happy and remembered you! Breakfasts awesome with so much choice and the fresh fruit (Gracias Domingo, the man!!) was delicious. Will return.
A bit costly but we were treating ourselves.
The staff was very kind and service minded. Also a plus was the breakfast and dinner buffet, both of good quality. A free ticket to the spa was very welcome, certainly with the poor wetter.
The room we were allocated in, was facing north and due to the wetter very cold. A king size double bed would have been nice. The evening entertainment was certainly not 5-star!
* spacious, well equipped room * I got an upgrade in a unit with sea view * great pool area with heated basin * very smart property and garden * awesome choice at the breakfast buffet * free of charge underground parking * free voucher for a Hotel SPA entrance
* nothing, everything was great!
Not having tea/coffee making facility. Wine served at the bar is not very good quality.
They need to clean the bathtubs in the room (giacuzzi) much better, as there were hairs, stucked in the faucets and filters and mold in the water jets.
we like the location and the food was good.

Flies at pool area Bed uncomfortable Construction Work
the staff were great - very accomodating- they made us feel like they knew us. Gave us our space but attentive. the facilities were very nice, not a huge hotel but it had everything and was quiet.
there was some construction going on near the hotel, improvements being made to the walk way to the beach. could not hear from our room, but was still a nuissance.
The comfort, staff, food, pool sea front location
i liked almost everything. One criticism would be canoodling couples in the spa but that's not owned by the hotel I don't think therefore out of their control. Perhaps also the internet connection wasn't great but in no way did either spoil my stay.
Construction works around, poor food quality, small bugs at hotel room, very bad internet connection
All facilities and hotel environment
Food very average/cold/ poor choice for British menu. £1,800 for a weeks H/B way over the top.
Good location, 400 m from the ocean beach. Garage. Friendly, attentive and amiable staff. Spacious 2-room suite with comfortable beds. Variety of meals for breakfast, lots of fruit and vegetables. Decent quality of cuisine in Bocana restaurant during lunch.
No quickly accessible restaurants around, except for those inside hotel. Looks like not a single suite has a front ocean view (we've tried 3) - only side ocean view and view on the swimming pools. Bad Wi-Fi connection in our building called 'Casa Fuerte', weak signal, and gets broken every 2 minutes. Two construction sites around hotel, with understandable noise.
Excellent location, lovely hotel surroundings, clean and comfortable and brilliant food and the staff were just amazing! There was nothing to complain about! Excellent service all round!
No late check out and no double beds only single beds joined together! :(
Excellent rooms Very good position Safe sandy beach good walk to local restaurants near a good market
Rubbish weather No tea or coffee provided in rooms even after paying 6 Euros for a kettle. Bit poor for a 5 star

Need to reserve pool beds before breakfast

With only 2 exceptions the staff were very attentive, polite and friendly
Because of local road works there seemed to be a fly problem in the swimming pool area. Also because of the same cause the walk down to the nearby beech was very poorly lit--no one seemed to bother about it at all
Staff were great. Food choice very good. Close to a great beach.
Lots of construction going on around the hotel area.
- excellent food - very professional staff - lovely Portuguese lady from the miniclub
- wi-fi was sometimes disappearing
Rooms very comfortable & serviced well. Great breakfast buffet Choice of swimming pools (1 heated). Generous allocation of free wifi. Good location for local amenities. Beach front with choice of bars and restaurants.
Staff appeared to be unable to provide split restaurant bills. Buffet restaurant was generally very good, but on one night the hot meats selection were very tough and none of our party finished the meal. Staff appeared unable to respond to our adverse comment.

long walk to bars.should have a courtesy bus at various intervals.
I thought overall the hotel was nice, and the staff were very helpful and polite. The food was a good standard.
The room initially seemed like a side view although we were paying for a full sea view. We accepted to stay in the room but I would not say it was a full sea view. The hotel seems dark inside and is looking tired in places. Also there is a lot of building work going on around the hotel which detracts from the whole experience.
