The breakfast time start 7.30, it should be earlier or for early leavers there shoud be somekind of flexilibility to have breakfast.
Wifi was excellent, great location
When you enter the room there is no sunshine, it's like you live night at a day time, weak breakfast Dont think will go back there
poor natural light in the room over the day
The location was very nice and the staff very helpful.
Having to change the password for wifi each day was user unfriendly. Our daughter's Air conditioning was defective as she could not lower the temp. She reported the matter twice but nothing was done about it.
-great area -large rooms with comfortable beds (lived in suite) -great bar with a good menu of food and drinks
expensive parking - 27 euros per night
Location. Big bedroom size.
Old fashion decoration. A little bit noisy
Room size (junior suite). Location.
Wi-fi signal erratic.
The towels are a disgrace; some are almost tranS has better towels.
Good location in heart of barrio Salamanca and cheap for the quality. Quirky 60"s spanish interior design, unmodernised thank god. Extremely confortable bed and big space rooms.
Staff seem a bit de-motivated and aloof, but helpful enough.
The hotel has a excellent location in one of Madrid's most expensive neighbourhoods. The staff is really friendly.
The interior of the hotel is really, really old and with regard to the value for money ratio, I think the hotel should really improve and modernize rooms.
Price was great. The black out curtains were the best I've ever seen in a hotel! Bed extremely comfortable. Nice marble bath. I can only say good things about this hotel and the location.
Long pillows which I believe to have been decorative. But bed was comfy and
Old world European ambiance.
Not happy about beadspread that is probably not washed after each visitor. I tend to favor hotels that do not use these and instead use blanket, or duvet cover that is washed after each visitor.
Excellent location and Breakfast , Comfortable and reasonably priced
Staff on reception desk uncommunicative and some unfriendly
I have been staying in this hotel for about 12 years. There has been always some issues with staff at recepcion!!Luckily I was welcomed by a lovely lady at reception,Desiree!!Makes a diference!!She is always very helpful and kind!!There were quite a few new members of staff at reception, which I felt was nice!
I think is about time the flowers in the entrance, which are plastic should be replaced by fresh flowers!! Yoghurt for breakfast should be better quality.
nice room with well working air-conditioning system
variety of food selection at breakfest could be wider
Front desk staff not user friendly for English speakers. Toilet leaked, A/C not functioning, marginal cleanliness. All chairs in bar completely worn through fabric on arms. Needs to be re-done. Sounds harsh but we would stay elsewhere if we return to Madrid.
we got an upgrade to a suite for free. It was excellent!! The breakfast, great! Staff at front desk very cooperative and helper
The lifts do not reach the lobby and if you have heavy bags you have to descend several steps with them.
Convenient location. Good breakfast.
Too many unexpected steps between different rooms, and even within my room there was a dangerous step, difficult to see. Was charged 6 euro for a single cup of coffee.
the fact that we were put in a smoking room when we dont smoke and the hotel was full so no other option but to be in room
Very poor House keeper service they don.t clean the room every day until l complain. They don.t take the rabbish out of the room. The hotel too much classic out side the city center 3-4 miles
Service and Room condition
Hotel was clean and in a pretty good location. Short walk to the metro.
Furniture/decor felt really dated. Bed was uncomfortable and had awkward long pillows. Service door close to room made a horrible noise every time someone used it, and it was used late at night and early in the morning. Shower didn't have hot water, it was lukewarm at best.
