Very helpful and friendly staff. If coming back through Santander in future I would definitely stay here again, no doubts.

Not even an issue, as I like keeping fit, but for people who dont, its a good 20-25 min walk into el centro, there are buses that run regularly as well.

Location near beach, and close enough to town to reach by 5 min bus ride.

Good 4 star hotel with a warm welcome at reception. Beautiful, comfortable room with balcony and sea views. Location with easy access to lovely walk along the lengthy promenade. Secure parking although a wee bit pricy at £14 per day.

The staff were helpful and courteous. Nice twin room with a terrace. Resturant was very good - room included free internet and secure car parking. Great location near beech area with easy access to downtown Santander.

We stayed on a Sunday night before catching the ferry home and there was no cheff on duty and the evening meal was awful. It was cold or microwaved and of a very poor standard for any hotel let allone a 4*. When complained before checkout I was told I should have asked for a different meal in a very dismisive manner! The resteraunt staff cannot speak any english so no point in complainig to them. Parking is a problem if you have a large car or don't want to pay 15€.

I liked everything about this hotel. The standards it clearly observes are of a high quality, and it is all carried out in an unobstrusive way. All the staff were charming and efficient. The food was excellent. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The location was just right for ease of access to the wonderful beach of El Sardinero, and for getting into the centre of Santander. Wish I could have stayed longer.

It is a lovely hotel with huge balconies and spectacular views over the beaches below. It is set in a very attractive residential area on a hill and the nearest beach was only a 5 minute walk away. It only took 8 minutes to walk to the restaurant and shopping area near the casino.The room was very spacious with a large and very modern bathroom. The beds were huge and very comfortable. I would definitely stay here again, but would like a room on a higher floor, away from the restaurant and terrace.

The hotel is beautifully designed, but there is a flaw in that the restaurant is open plan with no doors hence all the noise comes up the stair well. We were staying on the first floor and could hear everything going on below. There is also a very attractive outside terrace, but if you are on the first floor you can hear everything people are saying. There were people talking very loudly until almost 1.00am. We couldn't connect to Wi Fi in the room and I suspect that a lot of guests couldn't either as there were lots of people on laptops in the reception area

Great corner balcony with good views

A great hotel in a super location overlooking a choice of clean sandy beaches.The hotel was immaculate and the staff friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was very good with a wide range of options, but the highlight was the evening menu del dia , offering four courses,coffee and a bottle of rioja all for 20 euros - a real bargain.. Overall a hotel we would recommend to anyone.We enjoyed our stay immensely.

Lack of storage space in the room - a concequence of the unusual shape of the hotel.
