We have stayed here before and had a wonderful room overlooking the sea. Lovely walks, excellent breakfast and menu dinner

This is an excellently situated hotel, it has private parking if you want it and is very comfortable. This was our third stay here.

Views of Sardinero beach

Electricity kept going off due to problem with the roomcard settings. Four visits to reception but each time she just loaded the card into her terminal and did some keystrokes and said its ok. Not a word of apology.

Clean and comfortable hotel with good inside parking. excellent value for money. Staff very attentive.

Television channels poor and restaurant area basic

Nice and clean hotel with friendly staff. Very close to the beach, and public transport was within walking distance, although we preferred walking to the city centre which takes about 25 minutes.

Hotel and room was very hot and humid, and the WIFI signal in the room was very very poor - probably the only small complaints to an otherwise very pleasant stay.

Great location near the beach but still close to town. Very friendly staff who provided great restaurant recommendations. Free wifi in our room. Fantastic value for money.

Maybe more pillows and comforters in the cooler months.

Somewhat disappointed. The hotel was very busy doubtless due to National day celebrations. Overall the place was tired and in need to a substantial make-over; carpets, general decor, bathrooms in particular have all seen better days. Staff seemed somewhat listless and unhappy with their lot in general. Food was unspectacular and somewaht pricey for what it was.

Everything was perfect including the location & the bed was luxurious.Fantastic room,spotless & so modern & the bathroom was superb.Would definetly stay here again.

we had a nice room with a huge balcony with a view of the sea from the rear and towards the casino, have stayed at this hotel a few years ago and had a small balcony, due to the shape of the building most rooms have a good outlook, but the rooms between the large balcony rooms have tiny balconys, we were lucky this time and had a nice three night stay. Having said this the balcony was a bonus and wouild still be nice with one of the smaller balconys. Breakfast buffet was fine, a nice hotel in a good location.

the bathrooom door was frosted glass and did'nt offer much privicy whilst sitting on the loo, seemed a bit strange. also very little wardrobe space due to room shape, this did;nt bother us due to short break

The room was excellent with a large terrace overlooking the sea and with views of the beautiful Santander Bay. It is a pity that some really ugly buildings stood between the hotel and the sea front, but that is not the hotel's fault. The room, being 'in the roof' was rather hot, and unfortunately the air conditioning system, when you could work out how to use it, was very noisy, so unusable at night. The room and the whole hotel was very clean.

The photographs flatter the hotel, particularly in relation to its location. It is not that close to the beach, having to walk down a hill and over a very busy road. Its location is well out of the centre of Santander, although it is such a beautiful City that is not a major criticism, unless you want to park your car in the centre. The staff were Ok, no higher than that and the person in charge of the breakfast was particularly miserable and unwelcoming. The public rooms were rather spartan and it struck us as really a business hotel and not particularly welcoming for people like us I am afraid.

The food and service in the restaurant was excellent and very good value for money. We also rated the breakfast service, which surprised us as the reviews for the breakfast were not good.

It really doesn't have much of an atmosphere. The reception staff are professional but not really friendly, but this is completely different in the restaurant where the staff are friendly and provide a lovely atmosphere. Breakfast restaurant needs to have music playing in the background all of the time, this only happened on our second day.

Very clean, confortable spacious room, good bathroom. lovely garden terrace pity couldn't have lunch there. Some staff extermely pleasant other not so.

Spacious rooms, clean and bright - breakfast ok.

Had to have dinner in hotel due to a storm. Food terrible I'm afraid, we were expecting a fresh spanish platter and got a soggy, fried selection instead. I'd use the hotel again as it's very handy for ferry port but wouldn't eat there.

To much noises in the morning!

Great staff! The gentleman at the front desk, his name was Fidel was outstanding, a great host and also provided us with extremely valuable ideas for activities in the area. Location was great - close to the Ocean. Wish we could have stayed there more days.

Breakfast was ok, not great. Wish it had a restaurant on site. Bar staff was not extremely friendly.

Location, style and balcony room all suited perfectly for the first 2 nights of our ferry/car tour of N.Spain and W.France

Very convenient clean and comfortable hotel, covenient for the overnight stay for the Brittany Ferry return home to England. Very reasonably priced.

The breakfast leaves much to be desired: If they are going to serve bacon and eggs they could at least light the heater to keep it warm, it was very cold and greasy. Not at all very appetising the rest of the selection was very poor compared with other hotels and for 11euros not at all well priced. The staff were very sullen and decided to empty tables into a trolley making as much noise as possible whilst we were trying to dine. Shame as the rest of the hotel is excellent.
