The location - staff - breakfast buffet

Book a double room the singles are noisey & windowless but quite able to sleep

Perfect location, closed to Rambas de catalunya... Restaurant, shopping... Central. Nice breakfast. Comfortable room, well equiped.

The only thing that ruined the ideal stay was the noise from the school in the bakyard of the hotel, but wasnt so annoying i wouldnt come back

Only gives 1 hour wi-fi for free, the hotel computer is in a corner , underneath the stairs, very unsafe place, I hit myself many times. Hotel is in front of a school, kids noisy at times

Extremely helpful staff. Quiet location but just a couple of blocks from the Metro. Lots of good places to eat. We enjoyed a very good meal at a very fair price at Pulpa one block down from hotel. We will certainly visit again we we next come to Barcelona to visit our son Didn't use the pool as winter on our visit. It is a decent length but only narrow in width. Breakfast good but we paid only 10 Euros on a special deal. From the airport use the Aerobus to Placa catalunya and then Metro Green Line to Diagonal

Nothing in particular except 1 hour only free WiFi is a bit of a nuisance, particularly as you can only use it once a day for free

An interestingly designed hotel, very urban. Attention to detail, clean and comfortable.

Location is very good. Breakfast buffet is good.

The hotel has an Interesting, dramatic motif: first-rate conversion of an old hospital. Ulttramodern, very well-equipped rooms, though a bit dark. Ask for one with a balcony. Staff was friendly and helpful. Barcelona is a walkable city, so the distance to the Raval and Bari Gothic was no problem, and many Gaudi sites are an easy stroll away. No free WiFi, but there's a computer for guests to use.

This hotel puts form above function. The lighting is atrocious if you want to see anything eg reading, doing hair/makeup, packing a bag. And my single room was like a small cave, from the moment I arrived I was desperate to get out. Unfortunately there were no other hotel rooms to be had in Barcelona but on my last night I managed to move. The double rooms I'm sure were much better - but there is still the problem with poor lighting. My last gripe was the fake wooden floors , why when there is also - wonderful brick, tiles and marble in the same spaces - to add yet another surface just for looks??

Staff was wonderful, very helpful and friendly.

I gave a fair rating for cleanliness primarily because the walls needed painting. The bathroom was excellent for cleanliness. The area was much more Spanish than the Las Ramblas which was crowded, dirty and generally unsafe feeling-90 percent tourists and hustlers. We had an upgraded two story room which was attractive but difficult to use-very cramped and little space for luggage. Somewhat uncomfortable.

The staff were exceptionally helpful and really went that extra mile to help out when ever we needed it.

The hotel was very modern, comfortable and clean. The design of the building was very impressive and has all the comforts you could possibly need for a weekend stay or longer.
