Eurostars Grand Marina Hotel GL  

It was fantastic! We got bus discounts at the hotel! Caught the bus just outside the hotel, on a 2-day pass, and we were off to see the city. The hotel had a pool, a hot tub and wonderful weight room, and a great place to lay out and absorb the rays! Yes! I'd go back there again!

At first, they were booked up for the night! We were offered a room with no view! We said no. We told them that we had a reservation for a room with a view of the city, since January 21, and it was now June 18th, he told us we would just have to wait and see if there were any rooms coming up, (by 3:00) It was 9:00 am! Ok we asked if there was a place to lock up our luggage, he said sure, just put them over there! (It was against the wall!) We walked out the front of the hotel to the bus stop and forgot the bus passes, so we went back to ask for them and what do you know......we had a room!!!!

I like the place. It is on the seaside and near by Rambla. The hotel staff were good and helping.

The Eurostars is a well appointed hotel in an excellent location for anyone wanting to spend some time in Barcelona. What made our stay even more enjoyable was the service provided by its staff (very friendly, efficient and very helpful)

Location - close to port.

Extremely noisy at night. Wood floors and lots of cement cause it to be very noisy. If someone walks by or closes a door it seems like they are in your room. Even with ear plugs & sleeping pill we did not sleep! Bed was very hard too.

No English television programs, just news. A/C did not work and they had to switch my room. Limited restaurant selections.

This is a hotel built in the docks of Barcelona (the "Marina"!), behind the world trade center. The "sea view" rooms overlook an office block and a court yard. You access it after a long drive/walk which, at night, seems to be the meeting point of the homeless. You wonder how safe it really is. If you like the fumes of very large ship docked just next to the hotel, the docks atmosphere (deserted at night, except for the above- mentioned homeless) and the view of a world trade center, then it's a great hotel.

Excellent staff, very well appointed facilities, fantastic condition.

Our room was one of a few that didn't have a balcony and overlooked the World Trade Centre square so the view could have been much better. Although we asked for a view of the sea (which we didn't get) next time I would ask for a view of the city.

Nice hotel in a quit area not far from La Rambla. Good price for a 5 star hotel. Very nice room with jacuzzi in every bathroom.

Very good location. On the waterfront and very convenient for Port Vell and La Rambla. The rooms are spacious and clean. Hotel staff were helpful and efficient. There are very good views of the city and marina from some of the more expensive rooms.

All of the basic rooms don't have showers, which we didn't expect from a five star hotel. The internet speed using the wireless router is very slow and sometimes it is not possible to connect to the internet at all. There are no tea and coffee making making facilities in any of the rooms.
