Typical Barcelona design of the hotel's building. Lovely and helpfull staff - feeling of a family hotel. The room was big and consisted of a bedroom and a reception separated from each other with a sliding door. It was a sliding door beetwing the reception and the balcony as well. The rooms are well isolated from the outside noise. Very fresh marble bathroom. There was no tee-kit but you can get a can with hot water for free and any time. On the opposite side of the hotel there is a very nice bar/restaurnt Velodromo popular for its lovely breakfast, lunch, dinner and just drinks. The bar Milano intill to the hotel was very populer as well men we preferred the atmosphere of the oldfashion Velodromo. I stayed there on business and I would stay in this hotel again.

Actually nothing negative but people on business should require a propper internet connection when they book a room since the rooms far from the WiFi point may have bad connection (so was our 1001 room). The safe box fee is not included in the room's prise and costs 2 Euro per 24 hours but the safe box is a propper one with the 8 digits code.

You will seldom find such spacious hotel room in Europe at such good price. There is a supermarket across the hotel and a good bakery down the street,good for family that want to buy their own breakfast and some grocery items, like milk and drinks. There are 2 washrooms in the room and 2 TVs!

The shower head has poor stream.Safety box is extra for 4 Euro a day.One of the 2 TVs works intermittenly.

Breckfirst is terrrible. I can't connect internet in my room.

Big rooms (all suites) with a nice balcony. Great location for going out in the evening, full of restaurants and bars but with no tourists. Japanese restaurant in the hotel. Comfortable bed (soft). Good service.

The rooms are starting to show their age. Small shower head with not enough water pressure. The front door is ridiculously small. Breakfast did not have orange juice, you had to ask for it and they bring you one glass and it is not freshly squeezed.

Its nice location, 20 mins walk from the center

The real 3-4 stars hotel with good standard. We like everything exept the price:)

The price and that is only one. But for Barcelona the price with dicount was really moderate.

This hotel is situated at the border of the centre, in walking distance (10 min.) to the metro station diagonal and Catalunya square 25 min. Our room was what you might expect from a 4 star hotel. The room was clean an comfortable. The bathroom is nice, large and clean. Towels are replaced daily. Overall we were

We had a reservation for a triple room. We got a double room with an extra bed added in the 'living area'. This bed was rather small, ev en for our 1,50 meter tall daughter. Large adults would certaintly not fit. The pictures showed for a triple room on the booking site was different from what we got reality. The carpet is a little worn an need to be replaced.

Great location in a nice area of Barcelona away from noise. Nice large suite. Very helpful staff. Quiet room. Smoke free.

Room was tidy, kept up, but not really clean. Too bad breakfast was over-priced, but we discovered several wonderful cafe bars in the neighborhood for good breakfasts.

The hotel is well positioned just off of the Ave Diagonal that dissects the city. If you like walking (recommended to see the buildings close up) many of the Gaudi buildings are within 20 minutes, if not the tourist bus stops just across the road. Lots of restaurants within the area and a cafe next door to the hotel. The hotel room was spacious and we loved the bedroom which was set back in the middle of the apartment and therefore no traffic noise. The staff were helpful and friendly..

The only negative was the Sushi restaurant in the hotel complex the food was good but on the expensive side and even though we spoke Spanish the staff could not get the order right. Just a note nothing to do with the hotel the taxi driver back to the train station tried to double the price of the fare, he backed down when asked for his id and taxi number.

Spaciousness, spotlessley clean large bathroom, lovely soft chunky towels & no noise

No extra pillows only one flat one per person, misleading not near city centre, advised to get own taxi from round corner balcony windows would not open

The location was great for us, as the hotel was not in such a busy area of the city, but was close to wonderful restaurants and shopping. The hotel front desk staff was wonderful and very accommodating also.

The hotel did not seem very clean to us. We opted to take the stairs one time, and they were filthy. Our room was not dirty, but did not have a clean feel to it. And for the very expensive price of the room, we expected much nicer.
