Super location just on the Placa Catalunya. Good price and nica staff. No luxury hotel if thats what you\re after. If you're looking for a reasonable place with a good location, this is it!

The hotel has an excellent localization, just nearby Catalunya and is clean. The hotel isn´t as good as it looks in the photos... The water has very low pressure for having a shower...All the structure looks old and not well kept.

The location was very good. The rooms and beds were clean There was no tea making facility,no concierge service,and a lot of noises from other rooms from early morning (the rooms were not sound proof)

The location. It was very near Catalunya Square where the airport bus leaves and arrives. Actually that was the main reason I stayed in this hotel. TV in the room didn't work while we were there (4 days) and free computer was working sporadically.

Only the free wifi was worth this place. The price is ok. The personal at the Night shift was a horror to deal with. La chica mas antipatica que podria esperar. The nightshift girl was very rude and impolite. I dont know how she got the job nor how she maintains it.

Location is awesome! You can be at any part of the city within 20 min. max. Staff was also helpful, easy to communicate. Room got cleaned every day. Hot water, AC, they were all functioning perfectly... With that price, a simple breakfast can be included. Walls are a little thin, in case you may have loud neighbors or you're gonna be loud...

Location was excellent, city centre. Staff not particularly helpful, unable to smile. We asked for an extra day or two in the same room but we were told to check out at midday and come back after 14.00hrs so we checked out and went elsewhere. Would not go back there.

Gran Ducat was close to public transport and the best shopping in barcelona. If there was any problem with the room (we want to move to a larger room) or the room key didn't work the front desk was quick and happy to accommodate us. The cleaning staff were great and our room was always clean when we arrived back after a day out. They worked around our schedule and we didn't bump into them once in our room. Loved the floors - not carpetted. It is a great hotel, in the middle of restaurants, shops and a quick walk to the metro. We were on the opposite side to the street so it was very quiet as well. Good beds. My friend who stayed on the street side of the hotel found it very noisy. The windows are not double glazed and barcelona does not go to sleep.

The People were Very nice! Good and practicable location, very close to the bus stop of the airbus. Good value for money. Simple rooms. Sometimes nosy, but it's by a street so I guess it's normal. Breakfast 11€/ person.
