VIK Gran Hotel Costa del Sol  

The hotel was in a conveniently situated close to both the beach and local shops, bars, restaurants etc. The room we occupied was spacious and well tended with a large wardrobes and a secure safe facility at a modest extra charge. We had a comfortable balcony on the river side of the hotel which tended to be quieter than the other side where many rooms overlooked the pool and bar area. There was a wide range of food laid out buffet style for breakfast catering for most tastes. We did not use the separate bar, cafeteria area.

The spacious bedroom would benefit from an easy chair in which to relax whilst watching tv. We were not made aware of any entertainment provided. Other than that we enjoyed our stay very much.

I like the view and the close prox to the beach.

We were asked to pay cash on arrival and we also were not allowed to eat dinner without paying 1st, which is not customer friendly at all. Also at about 12.30am on Sunday night i went to the lobby for some bottled water and the receptionist sold me 2 bottles of warm water impling that the vending machine was not cooled, I went down an hour later and found the water was very cold and I had been lied to.

We only stayed 2 days but the main thing we liked about the hotel was its location . the breakfast were also very good

Location is good for beach and all locao visits if you have car although buses are frequent

Being this hotel is catered for germans and spanish there obviously is a poor menu regarding ordinary standard food.there was no butter only margarine or non fat spread one evening advertised chicken kebabs none appearance of them.i always nearly come to spain every year and do eat spanish food but variety in hotel menu was I think quite poor and also there should be two sittings at night as it was free for all and servive was poor.sorry may not you you again as different from last time.thee years ago

It exceeded our expectations, great value, good variety of food and lots of it, the room was spacious and very clean, most of the staff were excellent, but all rated at least good. The pool and area was always clean, the beach was great, lots of lounges and chairs, easy to hook up with tours. There were 12 of us, Mom, Dad, kids, spouses and grandkids and everyone was more than happy with the facilities. Highly recommend.

Everyone wished we had booked longer.

Rustig, uitstekende kamers met balcon. Goede prijs / kwaliteitverhouding. Prettig gelegen. Wel dure parkeergelegenheid op het terrein (10 € / nacht) Er zijn wel parkeermogelijkheden om de hoek, dat doen de meeste gasten dan ook.
