Gran VersallesCovarrubias, 4, 07.Chamberi, 28010 Madrid (Show map) Very good, Score from 1249 reviews“Staff were friendly and efficient and helpful. Our rooms were always spotless with clean sheets and towels. It was a mix of holiday makers and business people and blessedly no small or big children running round the corridors late at night like in our last hotel, in Florence!”

I like it's central position close to the Metro so the Airport is 2 Euro and 40 minutes away. The saving on taxis buys an evening meal!

We stayed in this hotel for 4 nights and were very happy with it. The staff spoke very good English and were helpful in recommending restaurants and places to go. It was well situated with a 5 min metro ride or 15-20 min walk to Puerta del Sol/Plaza Mayor. The breakfast was also very good - the selection was far better than some 5* hotels we've stayed in. Overall we were very satisified with our choice.

It has been the worst hotel of many that I have been in Madrid, receptionist Juan, and the manager on duty didn't helped at anything, the literarly said "if you dont like it you can leave but we will charge the room to the credit card", many better hotels for less or at least the same price! Hope you take this review and don't complain later if not!

Mostly is the location as it is very close to shopping areas, banks, bus stations and resturants. Also the quality and presentation of breakfast is excellent and the staff serving in the resturant are very nice and professional.

Hotel staff was very friendly and effective in solving our problems. Relocation to another room was effected smoothly and in a most careful fasion. Breakfasts were excellent, the menu extensive. Surroundings of the hotel are charming and the whole stay appeared to be a fairy tale. Look forward to stying again.

Great location in a fashionable but quieter neighborhood , and still close to the main attractions ( we walked everywhere). The famous stadium was close by, actually saw some of the fans getting ready for the game. For the footbal fans, there is also sportbar Marca nearby. Very close to the metro station, which is very convinient for the trip back and from the airport. A little bit outdated design, but evrything was clean and working, so it was ok. Free wifi in the room was great! There were a two twin beds together instead of one large double bed which was rather awkward. Breakfast (10 euros per person extra) is not included in the standard rate, as a custom in Madrid, but one can easily find cheaper options outside of the hotel.

I liked the Hotel staff kindness and the strategic location closed to the metro station. The room's walls are too thin, but I was aware of it since I read other customers feeedback before my departure. I suggest you to bring with you a pair of ear plugs and you will have no problem.

Friendly staff, comfort room The cleaner didn't vaccum the room for the room service. It would be nicer to be in a complete clean room after one day trip.

In my opinion the room we stayed in was not worth a 4 star rating. The bar was more of a cafe on a side street, would definitely advise a make over / upgrade. The nicest part of the hotel was the lobby. We regularly stay with 4 star premises and this did not come close to my expectations.

Excelent localion, near the metro station, nice, clean room (and hotel), quite good price, a free wi-fi. Unfortunallely Madit is very noisy, so we could have heard all noices from the street. First two days there was a problem with hiting in the hotel and then they turned it on.

“The hotel staff were friendly and willing to accommodate our luggage while we went on a bus tour for southern Spain. In addition, its location was great. Within three blocks of Sol and a block south of Callao, it was still very quiet and comfortable. We highly recommend it if you are planning on visit Madrid Centro.” Gabriel, Mcallen, Texas |
