Grupotel Gravina  

The location was fantastic - close to everything! Most of the hotel staff were very friendly. The room was spacious enough with a 'safe' for valuables. Bathroom was nice and clean. House keeping staff were very helpful and nice. Free Internet at the lobby was a great boon. Our baggage was kept safe for many hours at a storage behind the reception counter, as we had a late evening flight. Overall, a wonderful experience.

Air-conditioning in the room was not very good at times. It got pretty hot in the morning (we were there early July).

The location is excellent. Just 3 minutes walking to the metro station and 5 minutes to Plaza Catalunya. Hotel staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast is fairly good. Wi-Fi is fast enough for my browsing.

The room are extremely small with the price that I pay. Bathroom is fine. My double bed is smaller than a common queen size.

Although a bit difficult to find the hotel reception and staff made us feel very welcome. The room was clean and had all the facilities we required. The double bed that I and my son slept on was a little bit hard and squeaked quite badly when you moved on it which I would have not accepted if we had stayed longer. More pillows in the room would have been appreciated. All in all the room although quite basic was perfectly acceptable and good value for money considering the hotel's location.

The bed squeaked badly and the decor, especially the wooden door surround needs some attention as it seems to be rotting at the bottom due to being near the shower.

Excellent location within easy walking distance to La Ramblas and place du catalunya. We even managed to walk to La Sagrada Familia.

Whilst the room was large enough for a family of four. We missed not having a view. The window looked out on a small alcove which let in plenty of light but no view. The plus point to this was that there wasn't noise from outside.

The breakfast was great! The staff was friendly and very helpful The location was good and easy to get to the main things we came to see in Barcelona

This was literally the smallest hotel room I have ever stayed in. The pictures on the site are misleading. The Basic room in this 4 star hotel was only slightly bigger than the bed in it. The picture leads you to believe that the rest of the headboard continues outside the picture border, which it does not. The room above us was under construction and we woke up to very loud hammers and saws going off by about 8:00-8:30 each morning. The patio that is touted in the description is very plain, cold, and was not worth visiting. The 3 other hotels we stayed in for the remainder of our trip in Spain were cheaper or similarly priced and all of those rooms were vastly superior to the one we stayed in at this hotel.

Its location is very comfotable for a city trip. Most of the sights are next to or not far from the hotel. There are lots of cafes or restaurants not far from it. Nice breakfast, friendly and helpful staff.

Staff was accomidating.

Room was always dark as it did not face outwards.
