Marconfort Griego Hotel All Inclusive    

the food and the entertainment are exceptional. sergio is a real asset to the hotel.

The staff in bars and restaurant were very friendly. The food was nice especially the fresh pizzas. The location is very good near train and bus so is a good base to explore the area. It was very cheap so I suppose you get what you pay for.

The room we had was like a fridge. We were in the block which does not get any sun which meant that the balcony was even too cold to sit out on. The only reason we didnt ask to be moved was because we were only there for 3 nights. The building is very badly designed you only get the sun at the pool till about 2 then you are in the shade so everybody moves around following the sun. On checking out we were never asked did if enjoyed our stay which I thought was very unprofessional the man at the desk just took our keys and never said a word. This hotel is nothing like its sister hotel the Marconfort Beach Club resort which is far more superior and the only reason we stayed in this one was because the beach club was full.

The staff and food

Location was excellent..staff were friendly and efficient. We vwould go again. Staff were efficient but not 'in your face'. Was sorry to only be staying one night. Easy access to bus abd railway. Staff sorted out a booking problem extremely well...we were very pleased

We would have liked floor numbers to be visible from the open lift door...we couldn't read the floor numbers in the lift..old age I think

The food was fantastic great value for money

no pool for toddler,need to wait a hour before they give us a room and checkin was at 2pm waited till 3 pm before gave the room

The swimming pool too small for so many guest, we being matured could not even get near the pool since all the deck chairs were taken with towels etc the whole day even if unnattended without any consideration for others

not alot the room i stayed in 1209 was awful with the view as a brick wall never will i stay there again

The pool and the pool area was to smal given the size of the hotel.

Service and value for money were outstanding. Food was excellent.

Not much outside space. No garden areas, and the space aournd the reasonably small pool (in relation to the number of hotel guests) was extremely overcrowded

The All-Inclusive is great but everything is Spanish. And Full of Spanish, spanish entertainment too we had a balcony overlooking the front think if we never had that We would have been on a flight home

The food was fresh and tasty with plenty of choice to suit the whole family. The staff in the restaurant were excellent as was the maid. We booked all inclusive which was good value for money.

The reception staff were rude and always served spanish guests before anyone else, even if there were a queue of 12 brits, the spanish guest would walk straight to the front and be served. On one occasion I complained and was told by the reception manager "I dont care". There were not enough bar staff for the amount of guests in the hotel requiring drinks. The grounds of the hotel were not big enough to cope with the amount fo guests, and therefore there was not room to sit down in the evenings to watch the (terrible) entertainment - this pleased my teenage children as they thought it was cringe-worthy! If you wanted a sun bed you need to be at the pool at 6am with your towels. Beds were reserved all day with towels and no-one ever arrived to used them which is frustrating. The pool are is far too small for the amount of swimmers. The lifeguard is part time and sits reading and texting most of the time - we even had to shout for his attention when a child was in trouble! Basically even though the all inclusive deal is good value, it does not make up for the rest of the cons. Oh and I forgot to mention, we have a room for 4 people and my two teenage children who I have paid adult rate for were expected to sleep on a pull our sofa bed with allthe wooden slats missing and a thin camping matress - we had to buy lilos for them which were more comfortable - when we complained no-one was interested at reception - I guess we are not spanish!!

Gym poor equipment and old, not well mantained. Also, pool side small and not enough space for beds.

We like the friendly waiters and staff , some have been there since 1975 ,always value for money .Good food too.

Pool is too small , gets too crowded in the summer months.

The price. Location was also very good, only cca. 10-15 minutes walk to the Palacio de Congresos y Expos. Costa del sol-Torremolinos. Also very very close to the city center (train station). A bit far from the beach.

The hotel was pretty crowded with mostly people from England (families). It took me very long to get the lift from 9th floor to Lobby or vice versa -- particularly during breakfast/dinner hours.

It was value for money,

There was no a fridge in my room.

Very friendly staff in the restaurant, our child made friends with one senior - best respects for him! The next good thing was food - its variety, freshness, tastiness, and plenty. Nice place, not far from garden-truck market, supermercado, train station, etc. Fast check-in and check-out.

Lack of cleanness in the room. The floor was cleaned and bedding was changed only once a week, though towels were changed daily. Noisy neighbours, noise from the elevator section almost nightlong (our room was beside the elevator). Sofa-bed was broken and unfit to sleep. Lack of bedding: there was a set for 3 persons, though we were 4.

I must say the All Inclusive is great value , food was very good , its a basic hotel , but clean and staff are great , couldnt fault the hotel would return again .

Good value for money. Good choice of Buffet meals, close to the centre of Torremolinos. Excellent Customer service received by Teresa from reception. She could not do enough to make customers feel welcome anticipating their needs.

We went has a big group of 35 Adults and children with a sports club. On a full board basis, the food was good and they had a wide range of choice. From what I could see there were lots of sporting clubs using the hotel as it is with walking distance of a big out door sporting facility. Would have no problems in staying in this hotel again.
