The pool area is lovely. The hotel location is great and also quiet. Breakfast was not impressive. Eggs were raw and were returned to the kitchen after guests complained. Glasses, etc were not provided. Fresh fruit was not good quality either. Also the lobby area (cafeteria area) was cleaned regularly i.e after each person used a table it was not wiped down. The old air conditioning unit was a little noisy.

Car parking space and free internet Breakfast was very poor And hotel room was very small like in the basement. You pay a lot but you get less if you compare with similar hotels

Ease of access being on edge of city but within walking distance of centre and also equestrian school. Good base to visit other areas such as Cadiz. The bar was not open until 6 PM which is unreasonable for a Hotel of the size.

The room had the most modern design out of all the hotel we've stayed in during our Andalusian trip. We could park our car directly in front of our hotel. Although they advertise with air conditioning, they do not have any! Theirs can only be used as a heater. When we complained, they said it was only this type of weather in Jerez (27 degrees) once a year...(!!!) So stay away from this hotel for the better part of the year unless you like sleeping in an oven. We could also not cool off in the pool as it was closed for renovations. The water pressure in the shower/bathtub was very poor. The staff has no "hello" or "hi" in their vocabulary.

Their bed is most comfortable , I love it . Breakfast is good (Not very good , but enough , don't forget to order your egg and other hot dishes) If you go Valencia , don't book EL COSO , it's a unreliable hotel. Even the location is abit far from downtown , it's no problem for us because we drive .

DVD. Cd tv in rooms. Bath as well as shower. No tea or coffee making facilities in room. Out of 69 channels on our tv only 1 was English and that was a news channel.

The staff especially reception....Lorena. the cleanliness, the beds, the convenience of being a little out of the center of the city.... the convenience of sightseeing things and other services nearby (great bakery and restaurants) we would recommend Guadalete and we would definitey choose to stay there again this is an aging 4-star hotel.....the lobby area with couches is looking very shabby

Good location and a very comfortable room with friendly, helpful staff. Usual, confusing driving directions from Booking.com - we had to telephone the hotel en route to clarify.

all of above services were excellent. A BIT TOO FAR OUT OF TOWN. Hotel had many statues of animals being slain in some form or other which some travellers may find offensive.

Poor signage - covered by a hedgerow! Pool unavailable. Initially unreceptive management but eventually addressed by move to another apartment. Lack of information on booking not least in respect of location and availability of staff

The hotel is ideally located for the leisure amenaties available in Jerez, the hotel was excellant value for money. The only complaint was disabled room was not suitable, no shower only a bath I could get in. Just the dissabled facillities or lack of in the room.

Very nice hotel, helpful staff and spotlessly clean. Not a major issue but it is about a 20 minute walk from the centre which in the heat can be tedious.

Well located 15 min walk from city and 5 min from Royal Equestrian School in good neighbourhood. Easy parking. Bed very comfortable. The hotel looks great at first but is distinctly worn and tired. The food was poor: breakfasts no more than average; evening buffet was 10 euros which sounded cheap but it wasn't worth it - more like a mass cateriing 2* but empty and little choice (obviously other guests knew). Jerez is great for eating out so avoid the hotel restaurant!

There wasn't much to like. We were given a smoking room, when we had ticked the no smoking box on the booking form. As we were only there for two nights we decided to stay put but told the lady at reception when we left, she checked our booking and said sorry it was our mistake and that was that. The room was o.k. clean as was the bathroom, which needed refurbishment as others in the hotel had been. The major problem with this hotel is the pool, for 5€ a day people from outside the hotel can come in and spend the day, there are very few umbrellas and very little space to put your loungers. All around the pool there are small tables and chairs and very large sofas to sit on, as this pool is used in the evening as a disco/bar. There is a large screen at the top of the pool which shows music videos & sport all day. If you want to spend a weekend relaxing by the pool, this is not the hotel to go to. In general the pool area and garden is quite shabby as is the general look in the common areas. Not up to standard for a 4* hotel

Near to spanish horse school and sandeman bodega. Short taxi ride to old town. Room was ready for us with an extra bed already made up when we arrived. Basic hotel with no frills but clean Air conditioning in room turned off in the middle of the night and came on again at 8am, resulting in a very unpleasant, hot night. Swimming pool area taken over by local families

The people at the desk have been very polite and helpful. I booked a non smoking room, but the first room was smelling really bad after cigarettes. So we complained. No problem, we got immediately another room, but this time the electricity didn´t work. No problem for the hotel people. Within minutes we got another room, but unforunately we lost the nice view to the park. Now it was an ugly view to the inner court of the hotel. Okay, the changing was done very fast und professional. But reading the reservation exactly and checking the state of the room more professional, the first bad impression could have been avoided, which was luckily later not validated.
