We have no hesitation in recommending this hotel, location for the Alhambra excellent, plenty of parking opposite (approx 14 euros a day). There are buses and taxis down to the centre of Granada, use these as it is a very steep walk. (Taxis are inexpensive). One point, the address on the website doesn't come up on gps so I rang the hotel and the very helpful receptionist gave me the correct address (Carmino Viejo del Cementerio) and this took us straight to the hotel. Note: in one of the little restuarants just down from the hotel - ask the price of the house wine before ordering as we were charged 15 euros which is way over the top! Will definitely visit this hotel again. Nothing it was perfect for us.

If you drive a car heading for the Alhambra in Granada, Guadalupe's location ,easy-parking (inside the Alhambra's parking lot but with a cheaper price) and relatively friendly price will make it on your choosing list, but if you go there through public transportation tools, you should stay in side the city downhill. 1. Soundproof of the room is not so well 2. A little far from the city. (Taking bus should be a wise choice despite they said its a easy-20-minutes walk)

Ideally suited opposite the Alhambra, cheaper parking in the palace car park, which is good,as parking in Spain is always a problem,it does mean a 20 minute walk down to the city centre, but is very pleasant.the room was very good, buffet breakfast- to be paid for was also good, easy to find-just follow signs to Alhambra.not much else in this location, but ideal for visiting the Alhambra.

Guadalupe Hotel, was an unexpected pleasure. We had stayed at several other hotels 3 & 4* in Spain leading up to our last 3 days in Granada. The room exceeded our expectations, we had amazing views of the Al Hambra from our two bedroom windows. The bed was huge and very comfortable. The reception staff couldn't be more helpful. And it is literally 2 mins walk to Al Hambra so we rolled out of bed at 8am and were walking through the gates at 8:30am having had breakfast. For the key aspects of a stay (room, comfort, nearness to Al Hambra and particularly the price - exceptional value) all delivered 10/10 The only downside was the hotel food and food service. The breakfast at 10 Euros was very expensive for what was on offer - the "full continential" was if you had anything more than a coffee and croissant & jam. Also in the bar we waited over 1/2 for a poor tapas on our first night and the 2nd drink of beer never appeared, but we were charged for it! But as you can get breakfast elsewhere and the tapas in town are free with every round of drinks you order, you can don't need to use these faciltiies.

The room was good, with a lovely bathroom. The food in the restaurant was excellent (we had a la carte dinner). The service, particularly at the front desk, was brilliant!

The location was fantastic for our visit to the Alhambra. Our room had superb views of both the Alhambra and the Sierra Nevada range. I think our room was probably the best in the whole hotel given the views, size of room and the fantastic balcony (which unfortunately we were unable to be able to enjoy due to rain and cold) Only negative was that there were no other restaurants near the hotel that we could walk to. We would either have had to take the bus or walk to town for a choice other than the hotel.

It is just in front of the Al hambra entrance. The rooms were clean and cozy. Easy acces to the city center via bus. In Tomtom, if you enter the hotel's place as a poi you are misled. It should be corrected. Coordinates are ok.

I thought the staff at the Guadalupe were very warm and friendly. The hotel it's self was spotlessly clean and really comfortable.I Would highly recommend the hotel to friends and family. I was in the annex and would have liked to been in the hotel it's self however this was not a major problem.

Location perfect for the Alhambra, but quite a walk to city centre, steep up hill climb back. Good bus service. Public parking close by, hotel guests discount.

The hotel is very good! For the price we paid I would never have expected anything so comfortable. Very cosy beds. The staff speak good English. But the best thing is its location. You leave the hotel and find yourself in Alhambra.

The location is fabulous if you wish to visit the Alhambra. A 20 minute walk downhill into the city centre although I would suggest getting a taxi back which costs about five euros. In line with many Spanish hotels you have to pay for parking which costs 14 euros.

The staff at the desk could not have been more helpful. Right beside Alhambra. Just 20 mins walk to centre of town. Room comfortable. Nice breakfast. Very handy parking (though a bit expensive) in Alhambra carpark. Tapas in bar could have been better.

It's very close to the Alhambra. There is no free parking. But they gives a %50 discount coupon for parking. Parking area is just in front of the hotel. Breakfast starts too late at 07:45.

The Hotel was well situated for visiting the Alhambra and not too far to walk into the city centre. It had a lot of facitilies and a comfortasble bed. We had a partial view of the Alhambra. The Hotel plumbing, we did seem to hear when baths showers and toilets were being used around us!

I liked the excellent view from my room. It was clean and quiet. Loved the location, very close to the city center, 10-15 minutes walking, the road was through a beautiful park. The staff was polite and helpful.

Stones throw from Alhambra. Easy walk down to the city by either of the 2 routes on each side of the Alhambra. And easy to get a bus back - if necessary. Comfortable rooms with views. Good bar and restaurant service. Breakfast was poor quality, expensive and confusing (choice between continental and buffet).
