We loved this hotel, and the staff. They were friendly polite and very helpful. We ate in their restaurant one night, the food was very good, and reasonably priced. The writer was very helpful re our requirement of gluten free food. Our room, complete with outside terrace and great views was very good too. We also ate in the bar, the food was good here too, and the waitress was helpful and friendly. We will use this hotel again.
There wasn't anything we didn't like!
Location for alhambra
The hotel, staff, location and comfort are ideal for travellers and sightse'ers. Highly recommended.
Beautiful view from our room
Wifi connection was not that good
Granada and Hotel lovely, would definitely go back
Only one lift in hotel
The location. The tree lined street. The building and the view of the orchard from the room through the french windows
The noisy plumbing from the adjacent room.
Loved the location for the Alhambra. We found the walk down thru the park to the city center and back up just fine. It is uphill but take your time and enjoy...sit for a bit if you need on the way back up. Or take a taxi up. Also, great restaurant just up the street (the Pizzeria) is has far more wonderful food choices than pizza. Reasonable prices and very friendly and helpful staff. We ate there several times during our stay.
Breakfast was expensive so we ate next door just down the street at the small cafe/bar up the stairs.
Proximity to Alhambra. It is the only fairly priced place close to the palace entrance. Alhambra's 24h. parking is a tad cheaper if you stay at the hotel.
The facilities are a bit dated, some don't work. Try to get a floor as high as possible. It's better to have coffee/pastry at Alhambra than a continental breakfast at the hotel. Basically it can be more interesting and cost efficient to live down at the city and drive/walk up to Alhambra.
We got a really nice stay at the Guadalupe Hotel, enjoyed the Alhambra with is a 2 min walking distance, and got a lot of help from the staff when asking about a rental car service. They were really fast and really helped us out. The hotel's restaurant lunch was really tasty and a great deal for us.
Nothing to complain about. Everything was great :)
Very nice hotel, staff was nice, outside the busy city.
Location, parking, quietness even though close to big attraction the room was quiet
Lights in room, a bit too dark, breakfast not to great, adequate but not best value better to walk to main sqaure art bottom of hill, two minutes away
For anyone wanting to visit the Alhambra the location couldn't be better
Good location for visiting alhambra, and close to the bus station for going to the city center
Room was a bit outdated
Very friendly staff. Great location for Alhambra visit.
No outside spaces to relax.
The location was great, staff friendly and helpful room clean.
No tea and coffee making facilities in room, breakfast not great.
It was a very nice hotel, and it was located good, 15 min walk to the centrum of Granada, or you could take the bus then you was in the centrum of Granda in 5 min. Their staff was very kind and helpful.
Location, location, location
Perfect location for entrance to the Alhambra and though car parking had to be paid,it was in the official Alhambra carpark right opposite the hotel......5 Mins walk to the entrance. Only 6 euros for a taxi down the hill(steep) to the ancient Moorish Quarter....Albaicin and city centre.
literally yards from the Alhambra. Beautiful location. Easy to stroll into Granada avoiding traffic. Hotel was quiet. Reception staff very friendly and helpful
The hotel itself was fine, we knew we would be staying out of the centre and over the road from Alhambra. One of the receptionist was a really helpful and professional a lovely girl. Any problem we had she was on to it straight away. Nice resturants nearby. Hotel kept really clean. Comfortable rooms and beds
The breakfasts were ordinary. They charged per night for the use of the safe in the room. The was not enough staff especially to cope with the arrival of large tour groups. The toilets were really loud when they flushed. Especially in the next room Our toilet decided to stop flushing. Wifi kept turning off.
Location for both the Alhambra and ease of taking the c3bus to the downtown. Hotel is good value for money.
Really liked everything.
All the staff were so friendly and welcoming and very helpful. The food was very good, both dinner and breakfast. The proximity to the Alhambra allowed booking of tickets on the morning of visit if needed.
No bad points.
Location, just in front of Alhambra
Very expensive parking
Great location if you want to visit the Alhambra castle. You can see the castle- the entrance it about 50 meters. The staff is typically polite- however the receptionist was speaking both english and french... extremely rare for Spain. The parking is about 15 euros- it is public, right next to the hotel. You get a valet from the hotel, you present it at the cashier and they reduce the price (which is about 18 euros/day). There is a drop off zone right outside the hotel. Then you go back from the roundabout you entered and you find a second closed gated area just next to the free-main entrance to the area. The hotel room was great- significantly spacious. It was really clean. The hotel seemed well preserved. I would suggest it!!!! The location: it is about 5 minutes walk (going down to a hill) from the main square of the old town. You may need a taxi of 5 euros to go back to the hotel- if you do not like going up on foot. The area is great, many restaurants and right next to Gran Via the main road of the city. On and around Gran Via you will find the wonderful shopping and dinning area of the city.
It is not a negative- just mention it. It is on a hill and you have to walk up the hill to go back from the main square. It is not difficult but if you are tired it can be easily solved with a taxi.
Location. Room was not a bad size but pretty basic Staff helpful Best part was we could walk over to the Alhambra . Also we took the bus into town and back. The bus ran frequently and was very cheap
Room had a funny smell last day we were there. Breakfast was just ok
