H10 Mediterranean Village  

Ruim opgezet, vriendelijk personeel, rustige lokatie, schoon, goede animatie, voldoende facaliteiten.

Warme gerechten bij buffet avondeten meestal koud. Hotelkamers erg gehorig, vooral door gasten die in de gangen lopen. Binnenzwembad heeft weinig uitstraling en badmuts verplicht.

We hadden geluk met een kamer in het gebouw D. Daar heb je zeer grote hotelkamers met zeer grote bedden (220x120); een fraai groot terras met 2 ligstoelen en tafel + 4 stoelen. Gebouw C heeft zelfde kamers; maar mist de ligstoelen op het eigen terras. Gebouw A en B zijn de kleinere kamers (helft van de grootte van die in C en D) en hebben een klein balkon met tafel en 4 stoelen. Als je keuze hebt, ga dan voor een kamer in gebouw D! Verder waren zowel het ontbijt als het avondeten zeer goed verzorgd. Beide in buffetstijl en zeer veel keuze. Als je daar niets van lust, moet je ook niet op reis gaan... Op dak van gebouw A zit een prachtig zonnedek met 2 bubbelbaden. Echt de beste plek van het hotel. Animatie voor kids riant aanwezig; maar daar kwamen wij niet voor. Maar mocht je kinderen hebben dan worden ze leuk bezig gehouden. Redelijk wat gratis parkeerruimte rond het hotel. Parkeergarage kost 10 euro per dag.

Het is er alleen in de ochtend tot 10:00 uur stil. Daarna is er de hele dag (vaak ook luide) muziek en in de avond tot 12:00 uur animatie/shows met muziek. Daarna nog opruimwerk, waardoor je pas om 01:00 uur echt in slaap valt. Oordopjes meenemen dus voor hen die daar niet tegen kunnen. Het is dus ook geen hotel om stil op je balkon een boek te lezen...

We vonden het eten goed alleen was niet altijd alles even warm, maar dat is bij buffet. Genoeg keus. Niet alle personeel kon even goed engels dat was wel eens lastig. Genoeg te doen voor de kinderen die zich ook kostelijk geamuseerd hebben en niet naar huis wilden. Wij hebben ook genoten van de vakantie alles is naar tevredenheid gegaan.

Zeer goed hotel, 2 zwembaden zijn super!! Kamers ook goed, eten zeker ook goed.

Geen parasols aan het zwembad!!! Wel vaste parasols, maar deze waren veel te weinig zodat het vechten was voor 1. Met gevolg dat je geen schaduw had aan het zwembad, de kids moesten dan constant in de zon zitten, wat niet altijd aangenaam was.

Rustige ligging en mooie ruime kamers met groot terras. Geen drukte in het hotel. Bus naar Salou stopt elke 15 minuten om de hoek.

Zwembaden buiten waren zeer koud dat je er gewoon niet in kon. Zwembad binnen was ook niet warm. Eten kan veel beter voor een h10 hotel

Great food. Great pool with attentive life guards. Coeliac friendly. Great kids club and facilities. Quiet location but easy access to salou. Bus stop right outside.

lovely design, well kept, spotlessly clean. Beautiful crisp white linen and soft pillows. Great buffet selection of good food. Very clean hotel in all areas and great facilities. Loved it.

Not well sign posted as it is tucked away and we passed it twice!!! Needs signposts badly. Jacuzzis on the roof were cold!..very disappointing. Otherwise fab.

Almost everything. It is very close to the beach.

It' s better to be a family with children to really enjoy everything. There are special programs and facilities for kids.

Very good holiday hotel on the beach for families

Excellent dinner, especially sea products. Good breakfast, although fresh vegetables would be desirable. Spacious room. Excellent location near the bus stop and in a few minutes of walk to a sandy picturesque bay good for swimming. Direct bus comminucations with Tarragona and Barcelona (city center and airport). Long, picturesque, and well equipped paths for walking along the sea shore. Beautiful surrounding (pine trees, bays, cliffs). Very high value for money in medium season (end of September).

Bath equipment operated improperly: water flew through shower and tap simultaneously, and they could not be switched separately.

we loved our stay here. everyone from the reception staff, to the cleaners were super friendly, welcoming and helpful. we will definitely be back in the near future

the only one thing we didnt like were the prices at the bar for alcohol and water. really expensive imo

The roof garden & jacuzzi were particularly nice with great views. Also the breakfast was amazing. All you could wish for. The staff were very friendly & knowledgable recommending good traditional restaurants in Salou/Cambrills. Room was big, clean and had all we need. Would love to return, superb and excellent value for money.

I have stayed at H10 on previous holidays and know the surrounding area, so felt comfortable. The hotel is clean and friendly and welcoming. Staff are eager to help in any way they can.

The bed and breakfast suite i booked did not have a kettle, glasses or a cup so i could have access to a drink through out the day or night. This could be added for more comfort for guests.

Food was very good, Perfect for family holiday.

i would prefere to be nearer to central salou, but for the high quality of food i would stay here again

Staying with two toddlers we found the staff very friendly and helpful when needed, the hotel has all the amenities to keep the whole family busy. Dinner is ok, some days better than others, good variety in food at a fair level. Good safety monitoring at the pools. A spar (shop) is 100m away from the hotel and there is a good in house supermarket. Preparation of baby food was done upon our request taking into account allergies etc, well appreciated.

Two bedroom apartment was outdated and needs urgently a throughout cleaning and refurbishment (1cm dust under the bed, matres full of stains, could feel the springs in my back, dirt on the walls, painting seems to be done by a child, bath doesn't flush properly, toilet about to fall apart). Airco didn't work in the kids room but got repaired after complaining. Water didn't flush but got also repaired, yet the tap of the bath never closed off. Cots for the kids were in a horrible state with holes in the textiles. If the previous guests didn't took the charged cleaning service of 5 euro/day, and the one before neither, you might end up in an apartment that hasn't been cleaned, ever. Kids menu in the restaurant mainly the same as for adults, hardly noticed a difference. Daisy club outside seems very badly in shape, ikea tables are extremely dirty, playfield seems deserted and not maintained, nevertheless the crew does what it can to entertain the kids in other ways. The upper pool with the pirate boat, is only for kids that can swim, the water gets to 1m50 deep, so not a place for toddlers. Only one small pool for toddlers where like 10 of them have to share the place. Hotel is advertised as 200m from beach but this is a very small beach (max 50 people in a bay between rocks), inaccessible with a buggy as it contains 50 steep stairs to go down. The next (large) beach is about 25min walking distance away, so most people with more than one toddler stay at a pool. Dinner restaurant allows guests wearing shirts without sleeves, short pants, etc. Lunch restaurant serves mainly fast food: pizza, sandwich and hot dog. Car rental service (Salou car) delivered children seats that are broken(!!!) and outdated (textile was teared apart). Coffee in the restaurant is below any level, fruit juices not tasty either (all machine make); wine card provides little variety. Strong bow on tap (very English oriented bar).

The design of the complex was brilliant, food was very good, had a great time, was planning to have days out exploring but stayed at hotel every day.

Only small gripe, we had pool side room and the entertainment is pool side so early night were a no no. next time will have a room other side of hotel, oh music all day at poolside was a bit annoying.

Really great hotel, spent 10 nights here and well worth it, The place is ideal for kids, with so much going on. They have an excellent kids club on site run by the hotel which gives mum and dad a break. Pools brilliant, food great. supermarket on site and bus stop 100 yards away. Shows run every night for kids at 9pm and then for adults at 10pm. Also a variety show featuring the younger hotel guests takes place once a week. glee type show featuring singing and dancing.One of the kids club girls looks after it and it is amazing. Well worth a look.

Location a bit far out, over 9 euro in a cab by night, but buses run like clockwork. Some of the furniture may need a lick of paint. Try if possible to stay away from a pool view. on a few occasions kids were awake when people came home late.
