The hotel was not like the Photos on the website !!!
The location is very good, not far from the beach. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We had a superior room, very nice spacious bathroom. Could do with some drawer space and mirror in bedroom.
lots of banging door at night and early hours in the mornings. The meals wasn't very good could improved with a selection of meat. Lots of salad stuff. Desert selection was a bit on the mushy side.
Great location - close to the beach and shops. Rooms very clean and the common areas are cleaned regularly. Friendly staff. Beautiful pool . Good choice and variety buffet.
Hotel nice and clean , very relaxed and in a great location ,central to bars and restaurants
really great location , close to the beach , restaurants, bars, disco, store. great dinner , allways can find empty sunbed.
every day same brakfast, evening show only for the older people! During dinner all drink for a money(coca cola 200 ml = 2.40 eur) not the cheapest... No parking for quests! need to search every day across the city!
Hotel close to everything. Got the train down from Barcelona airport and the bus back. Staff are extremely helpful. Can't fault the facilities. So close to everything. Danny Boys best pub and only around the corner
Got bed and breakfast deal.. Breakfast was awful so we didn't eat it after the first morning. Very Spanish breakfast. Only beans and fried eggs on toast but beans were cold. Coffee out of machine. Beans and egg on toast can be bought for 3.50 next door to hotel
The hotel salou princess is a lovely 4* hotel, the staff on reception are lovely. We arrived at 10.45pm and they told us that the had prepared us a an evening meal for 11.00pm which we thought was lovely of them. We stayed half board and found they had plenty of choice both at breakfast and the evening meal. The rooms are lovely and clean.
Bed was a bit firm but my husband found it ok.
Everything was of a high standard, lovely air conditioned reception and bar area. Rooms were good with aircon. Pool area very attractive and plenty of sunbeds to go round. Food was excellent. Evening entertainment was of a very high quality. I could not find fault with anything and would definitely go back again as I go to Salou a couple of times a year. Special mention to Kevin the barman who was so friendly and helpful. The hotel was only a 5 minute walk from the centre of Salou, shops and beach but in a quiet location - perfect.
Would have been nice to have tea making facilities in room.
Food was good, pool area is nice, bar is nice , location good,
Reception staff could be more helpful particularly on arrival, we had booked a pool view room at extra cost yet had to ask for it on arrival, towels thrown on sun beds all day with nobody around very annoying, entertainment by pool far too loud ,
The beach was close by.... Shops so close... Hotel was excellent we stayed full board kids enjoyed the pool
This was our second year at the H10 Salou Princess hotel and it was as good as it was last year. The rooms, staff, meals and location were excellent making our holiday one to remember.
I could not fault it!
clean rooms were well maintained
not enough sun loungers cold food que for brekfast to get a table small rooms
This hotel was generally good value for money, here are some good points: - staff were very helpful and efficient. - rooms were very clean and as advertised. - pool view rooms are good and worth the extra money, the road view rooms could be noisy as the road is very busy. - there was a lot of choice at meal times, though we usually opted to have breakfast and lunch at the hotel and eat out in the evenings. - the pool area was good, and there's lots of entertainment for children. - drinks prices were good (€2.40 for a small beer). - location is good, a short walk to the beach, main shops and restaurants. - portaventura is only a 15min walk from the hotel.
Here's a few things we didn't like about the hotel: - the pool opens at 9am daily, you cannot get access to the pool before this time. People queue up before 9am and once the doors open run to reserve sun shaders whilst their families collect sun loungers. This seemed like a crazy system, and some guests were really rude. We decided not to bother with this after a day or so as there are lots of palm trees around that provide shade and there are enough sun loungers to go around (as long as you pick them up before 11am). - the hotel don't provide free towels for the pool area. - the entertainment is pretty loud and goes on until about 11-12pm, it was fine for us as we watched from the balcony or were out, but it is worth bearing in mind.
The staff were very helpful and friendly from bar staff to night reception. The hotel was placed in an excellent position. The room was kept very clean and the cleanliness of the hotel in general was excellent.
The gym was useless. Equipment falling to bits. The aircon was leaking and my daughter noticed that water was gathering by the electric sockets. Not good. Food was repetitive. We noticed that food provided at lunchtime was much better than in the evening. Such as providing prawns and smoked salmon. The pool area needs to be addressed as people were queuing for sunbeds from as early as 8:00 am in order to secure a place near a parasol only to deposit their towels and not be seen again until late afternoon. When one of the rules of the hotel is "No reserving sun loungers". There were no attendants at the pool to supervise and it appeared that the 'Life Guard' on duty was stuck there for the day without being relieved. At one point there was no lifeguard in place. Lots of children in the pool this should not have happened. Entertainment etc during the day was not good, apart from the Aqua gym.
Location / food / pool /
Room was too small for three and needs updating and no WiFi in rooms.
We had only breakfast in this hotel, but it was very poor and tasteless. Towels didn't look fresh and a cleaner didn't put shampoos after cleaning the room. We have asked about quiet room, but even when elevators went up or down, it could be heard. I has ordered non-alcoholic mojito in the bar near pool and it was something disgusting, artificial substance.
great location and food, the breakfast was amazing
lost our purse in the lobby and staff didn't even try to help, one lady from reception was very rude. plus, loud music from the hotel entertainment didn't let us comfortably rest in our rooms till midnight. rooms were not clean enough.
everything but breakfast, apart from that super hotel
breakfast could be a little better
Everything very central good food
The pool was nice and the sports bar attached was a good place to start or end your night out. Staff were very friendly and spoke English and the rooms were nice.
Beds were very hard in the room we were in and not a lot of room round bed for two people.
Great pool view from room. Great staff. Fantastic choice of food at breakfast. Champagne was a great touch. Room was all you needed. Great location. Bed was comfortable.
The gym is very small with not much weights.
The food, The pool, The shaded areas around the pool.
the stuation near the beach Food was good with a wide variety Staff very helpful
disabled accommodation requested but none available we were given a room with large bathroom and the bath had a handrail. Sadly that was next to the lift which made a noise all night. when we complained we were moved to a very pleasant room but my husband could not access the bath or shower.
Excellent location - very near the centre of Salou and five minutes walk to beach. If possible get pool-view room as they also get sun most of the day on their balconies. Because we were attending a wedding in Tarragona we did not spend much time in the hotel and had no meals there apart from breakfast. Plenty of sun loungers available. Excellent value for money at the time of year we were staying..
noise from the road outside but then they charge extra for a pool view which is would be quite.
