One of the best hotels I've ever stayed at: - Spacious and comfortable room with a balcony big enough to fit 2 arm chairs, a table and there is still more than enough room left for a baby carriage - Excellent facilities on hotel's grounds: 2 large swimming pools one of which is heated, kids pool and playground, big spa center, hairdresser, shops, 2 restaurants, terraces fitted with chaise-longs and couches with a great view of the ocean - Wide selection of meals for breakfast (some of which are cooked in front of you) - Amazing food at the restaurant Gaudi Bottom line: a great place to stay at - my wife and I definitely consider coming back. Just two minor things: 1) Some of the staff weren't very friendly: during breakfast one of the waiters hit me with a plate and didn't even apologize. 2) When we arrived our minibar did not have any water in it, but the next day we were charged as if have drank it, so I had to talk to the reception to clear things out. Everything else was of the highest level.

The staff were very good to us, we are an elderley couple and the staff treated us with great kindness and consideration. The price of drinks in the room minibar was quite high and not good value for money. E.G. a small bottle of water was 4.0 euros, in my opinion that is quite high

Spacious room. Bathroom with everything of toaletries and new towels as often as you liked. Excellent breakfast. There was little sun on the terrace because of the roof. Good when high temperature, but not so good when 22 degrees.

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel, and helpful receptionists and friendly staff, breakfast was ok Our impression is that this is not a 5 star hotel, its more like 4 star. This is based on that it had some small errors. Like no safetybox door, bathtupplug didnt worked, babypool was not preheated, breakfast was very good the first days, but in the end of the week the bread and baguettes was very dry.

The breakfast was excellent. The rooms were nice and clean. Beautiful pools and sun beds were comfortable. The localization was good. The architecture was excellent. Good atmosphere. Nice shows at night. Wifi did not work so well. Not in room and not in reception area. Payd for a room with sea view, but there were palms in front of balcony. Changed room and later they cut them. The heated pool was only for adults, so my daughter could not swim there. The other pool was ice cold. The inside pool had also a age limit. The reception staff were very correct, but nothing more.

Food, and it was a nice and clean hotel. The sunbed great, also the cleaners in the rooms. Wiew was great. The staff in the resepsjon... The worst ever! Arrogant, not able to help, forgot to call the sjafour when we had ordered tansfer to the airport, so that we had to wait and instead had to take a taxi, half an our late... No "sorry" from the staff. The wifi at the pool was not working at all... and no wifi in the rooms, in 2013...

We liked the room, the sea-view, the garden and the pool-areas. Our room was on the calm side of the hotel, we were very pleased with that. The food was excellent! Next time we will consider all-inclusive, because of the excellent dinner-buffet and because all-inclusive also includes spa. Spa wasn't specified good enough at the time we ordered the stay at the hotel (booking.com). It was ok that lots of people occupied the sunbeds in the morning. But we didn't like the occupations of the sunbeds when people went for dinner, shopping - they were away for long time, often many hours. We would like the staff to be alouded to remain the towels when people left the area for hours, so other people could be able to use the sunbeds, too.

Well designed Hotel, quiet location but beachside and short walk from Faro area. Good grounds with different pool areas and terraces amongst the gardens. Excellent buffet in hotel if you stay in, spacious comfortable rooms. Not the cheapest of hotels, so to charge another 50 Euros per day for a couple to use the Spa facilities is very excessive; especially if you just want an hour or two of relaxation. The room we were initially shown had a view of a hedge and nothing beyond it; we complained and were given a second room a view of back of the restaurant, which we also rejected. We were then told that was a standard room price and would have to pay a supplement before getting a room with a decent view, Perhaps this is the fault of the booking site rather than the hotel, but these additional options/costs were not shown when booking. We paid the extra to upgrade and had a pleasant stay in a room with superb sea views. For some people this may not have been an option and possibly ruined their stay.

Spacious and stylish public areas - though apparently full, never felt crowded. Good quality furniture on large private balcony, comfortable beds. The bedroom size and finish is not 5 star, and the food (breakfast), was only average, despite there being an extensive range of things to try. This involved a great deal of wandering about the illogically arranged dining room. We tried one meal in the Gaudi restaurant, which was OK but expensive.

The pool and rooms were ok as well as breakfast. - A hotel to avoid - We had a lunch at the pool's restaurant. I can say without exaggerating that it was one of the worst meals I've had. Just disgusting. We had to leave the place because it was simply horrible. Service was slow and inefficient. 2 waiters to attend over 50 people. And not nice. Due to overbooking issues, we were granted a Junior "Suit" (yeah, right!) and were invited for a lunch at the restaurant. However, this restaurant is zero appealing and we could not exchange the coupon in the pool's restaurant. Making the story short: we had to pay for the "meal" at the pool and would not try to use the invitation in the restaurant, given our previous experience. This is not a 5-star hotel, at least, not Spanish standards. This is a 3-4 stars at most.

A fantastic hotel!!stayed for four nights but wished it was much longer!beautifully designed hotel throughout...the pool areas are superb...one has views over the ocean....great chillout bar at night.Good location in a quiet area with access to meloneras beach...10 Minute walk by the sea to centre of masplaomas....for a big hotel it never felt crowded....breakfast was excellent...all in all a marvellous place to relax and get away.....will be back!! Just one negative....we ate breakfast inside as the terrace was too hot in the morning ... my partner being a smoker we asked if it was possible to have our coffee outside on the terrace...same restaurant....we were told it was not a problem...but we did get some discerning looks and overheard comments to the waiters each morning from whom seemed to be the terrace manager.....would have liked if he approached us directly.maybe he had a long summer!!however all the other staff were superb!!!

Location is very good, a bunch of Restaurants, Supermarket, Bars and etc... I was in Honeymoon and asked for a double bed room 3 months earlier, but they gave me a twin bed room. They've put me at end of hotel, 5 to 8 minutes walk until anything inside the hotel (Restaurants, Pool, SPA, etc...). I wasn't informed to have option for All Inclusive. I think this Hotel should be 4 stars at maximum!

Pleasant staff This is not a 5 star by any stretch of the imagination, a good 3 star thats all. All second floor rooms had no natural light blocked off by the hotel building and vegetation. Consequently room smelt of damp. Staff good in the main but the hotel seemed understaffed. No site security presence. Hotel smells of damp especially around reception. A major refit is required to bring this hotel up to standard, all skylights filthy, pool showers in disrepair and dirty, pool area flooring dirty not cleaned, pool beds and next to useless umbrellas filthy. Pool itself needs re tiling. This could be an excellent hotel if some major investment could be made the location is very good. First impressions as you walk in are one of dissapointment, walk into the local Lopesan hotels and you immediately notice the upgrade in class and appearance.

The front line staff in reception made us feel very welcome as did the household staff, the availability of sun shade at all times, and the cleanliness around all public areas The restaurant staff were very rude as if we were an inconvenience to them and especially as the only language we had was english, and they were not bothered and pretended did not not understand simple requests like, hot water please you would have to ask several of them for this before you got it usually when you had finished your food

view from the rooms are spectacular (all rooms faceing the ocean). Breakfast is very good, wide range of food. Price in the bar at the swimming pool are fair. There are enough sunbeds at the bar and at the swimming pool. Lifeguard does not let to made photos at the edge of the swimming pool (as shown on the photo from the website), and we specialy choose a hotel with such view, because of it - so it's a pitty. Water in the swiimng pool could be warmer. (It's not heated)

The Hotel is architectually beautiful and well laid out with nice features but more importantly every single member of staff was really nice and smiled - we got 5 star luxury for a lot less than 5 star price The sea views were stunning and the promenade was very nice Breakfast ( we were B&B) was well organised and the food nice - we are planning a return trip we had no dislikes
