The site and the view, but also the architecture of the acienda. An amazing place don't miss it!!

Not do much privacy for some of the room which have the "Eden" terrasse... Not so Eden to my taste

Very nice, romantic and relaxing hotel with good food and wine. Quite expensive and not the best if you search party but perfect if you want to stay away for the busy part of Ibiza.

My husband and I stayed in the Hotel Hacienda for our minimoon. We had an Eden suite with a pool in the garden which was amazing. The facilities here are brilliant and it's the perfect place to relax and unwind.

We booked massages at the spa. The staff take you straight through and as soon as the massage if over they tell you, turn the lights up and rush you out. In short it's more of a conveyer belt and not very relaxing at all! We were also disappointed that they knew we were on out minimoon and didn't even offer us a free drink to celebrate! They completely ignored the reason why we were there and didn't make any effort to make it feel extra special for us.

location, views, tranquility, relaxed vibe,my room and terrace, service, simplicity and quality of the food at lunch, supper and room service- the dishes were perfectly cooked and executed, large sun beds, terraced layout-so feeling of spaciousness, helpfulness of the staff, particularly on Reception. In all a thoroughly relaxing, stunningly beautiful, escape which more than exceeded expectation.

Very poor selection of wines by the glass. Shattered peace from Room 300-the party room-Friday evening until?Supply of earplugs would be handy.

The location and hotel decor is spectacular. Stunning cliff and sea views from the room and all common areas.

This is a 5* location with 5* prices but 3* service. They tried hard to fix all the problems we raised and the staff and management are likable and helpful but ultimately they are poorly trained and the hotel lacks systems and discipline to deliver a 5* service. Staff are mostly students who are there for the season so whilst they are bright and friendly they don't really know what they are doing! I would give it another try in 12 months to see if it had improved as the location and facility is really stunning but I am not holding my breath re requested changes!

The location is amazing- breathtaking. The pool areas are fab. Staff generally are very friendly. Rooms have fab views

It isn't 5* and not what we were expecting for our once in a lifetime honeymoon. More like 3-4* The prices border on 'rip off ' and you pay for breakfast on top at €27.50 a person. Staff mostly got orders wrong - except for Eden restaurant which fab. Not very clean. Our shower kept flooding the bedroom. Very eclectic styles - and felt bitty and not designed. Overall pretentious and overpriced.

The view was magical but please read what we didn't like.

Keep something in mind, this hotel can only make money for 4 months a year hence they charge three times the amount to make up for the year. (this was confirmed by a friendly staff member). You can't use the pool as it didn't have heating. The terrace pools you had to pay to use as part of a treatment. The food was average and priced handsomely.

Staff so charming, friendly and very helpful - nothing too much trouble Views extraordinary!!

Breakfast good but rest of the food poor and expensive - dont mind good and expensive! Not enough spa treatments at lower prices - 30 minute massage would be good before going out in the evening

The view and location was amazing and breathtaking all at the same time. The staff were so friendly and always willing to help no matter what the request was. Bathroom and shower were really great.

The room needs some maintenance, as the TV nor front door didn't work. The mastic around the bath was chipping away. Food was over priced for what you got.

The location was awesome...away from it all. The breakfast was great but expensive.

The beds are hard. It would have been nice to have a real hot tub for general use. There was a bath tub in the room...not the same as a hot tub. The cascades were fun but costly and I feel that when you pay for the spa one should be able to use the facilities for the day...that would include the cascades.

The staff was nice and trying

We absolutely hated our stay at the hotel, so much that we cancelled after one night to move to another hotel. It might have been great in the 60's but it has passed it's prime. It needs a makeover. They should be ashamed to charge those prices for a mediocre hotel! You want a great hotel go to Atzaro, true 5 star service and quality. It does not have the sea view but who cares when you got everything else.

    Great view

NO 5 star hotel, rather a 3 star, building needs to be renovated. Chairs on the terrace are old and dirty.

The setting and public areas were superb.

The standard bedroom was more likely 3 star standard not 5 star. A reburbishment is taking place but there were empty superior rooms which should have been offered. A standard room in a 5 star should be of that quality

Amazing views, location, good sized rooms, jacuzzi in room and terrace, therapy pools . Spa

Guests have to pay to use therapy pools whilst outdoor hotel swimming pools were not heated and therapy jets were not in operation. Wifi slow. Spa changing room facilities limited. They left a complimentary bottle of champagne for us but no note and only realised it was or is after we'd checked out. Limited storage space (for cases) in room.

Hacienda Na Xamena is exceptionally located. The rooms are very spacious and beautifully designed, with balconies overlooking the breathtaking views of the North of Ibiza. The food is delicious and the chill out area is perfectly designed for relaxing while watching the gorgeous sunset. Overall, we had an outstanding experience.

Unfortunately, the staff is uneven. Some are very helpful (like a waiter from the Canary Islands or the evening receptionists), but mostly they lack training and the refinement required for a luxury hotel. Most of the problems we encountered were related to either the stuff being misinformed or not being helpful at all. For instance, while we were trying to enjoy a nice meal, orders had been forgotten or wine/water was not poured on time - we needed to prompt the restaurant/bar staff too often for them to realise what to do next. Also, most of the staff speak neither good English nor Spanish so any information they were required to give to the guests was generally very basic - as they did not have the relevant vocabulary to explain it further. Hacienda Na Xamena is very isolated, so unless you want to drive to other sides of the island in the evening, you would spend most of your evenings there. With this in mind, Hacienda Na Xamena should improve their lounging services such as extending their music collection and allowing customers to stay at the bar for a little longer. Unfortunately the music from the bar can be heard from some rooms, which creates discomfort between the guests enjoying the views and a drink in the evening/night and those who wish to go to sleep early. We would suggest that the Cascades be offered as part of the package to guests - it would be a nice "touch" that would not cost much to the hotel.

The bedroom, bath and views The pool area, sun beds and as many towels as you wish. The food was pretty good and I believe mostly organic. Best Mojitos

The gym needs updating The fact that breakfast is not included and was 25 euros a head with an average selection of food. Expect to pay double for most things at this hotel. It is exclusive and so are the prices. The location is pretty out of the way and the mountain drive up to it is long andsteep. But, is a real escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
